Elisabeth Hasselbeck To Campaign With Sarah Palin This Weekend

ABC reports that "The View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced Thursday morning that she will hit the campaign trail with Sarah Palin this weekend:

The McCain-Palin campaign's efforts to reach women is about to get a celebrity boost: Elisabeth Hasselbeck is set to join Gov. Sarah Palin on the campaign trail.

"The View" co-host said Thursday the McCain campaign contacted her a day earlier, to convey an invitation from Palin to introduce her at rallies Sunday in Florida.

"I am more than honored to be there, so I will be flying there to travel with her and meet some pretty interesting people, I have a feeling," Hasselbeck said. "That's an honor, I'm excited to do it, and I'll have some stories I'm sure on Monday."

Last month, Hasselbeck's former political sparring partner Rosie O'Donnell said that Hasselbeck and Palin are "identical cousins, women who hunt in high heels."

Elizabeth looks as though she has been beautifully programmed by the RIght Wing media. Looks as though she gets all her talking points directly from Sean Hannity. You hear Hannity one day and the next you hear Elizabeth resounding them like a parrot on "The View". Its sad to see she has not studied history and her lack of intellect is self evident.

I watched her introduction today! She thinks that we're all fixated on Palin's wardrobe because we are trying to avoid the issues. The republicans avoided the issue of the economy for months, fixating on William Ayers.

But what Elizabeth doesn't get is the reason why Americans are so very angry about the "hockey mom's" $150,000 wardrobe is the fact that they have shoved her being "Joe-six-pack" down our throats ad nauseum, and were constantly telling us how she is like us!!

Well, $150,000 would pay off my mortgage that I pay a late fee on every month, because I can't afford to pay it before the grace period!! So before you write us off, you elitist snob, you might want to look at what America is going through!!!!

No kidding. The Republicans are king of distraction and have been trying to bring up all kinds of side issues this election. Who started in with the celebrity, elite, arugula, BS to begin with? The only reason her wardrobe has been made an issue is because it is yet another inconsistency in her message. There hasn't been one that's been truthful yet:

Reformer/Ethics -> She's had her own ethics and abuse of power scandal.
Populist Gov -> She claimed to fire the chef, sell the jet, and put money back in people's pockets (not all of were true), then she shows up with an extravagent wardrobe.
Hockey Mom -> Not quite. How many hockey moms out there have all these perks?

Even the whole, "our opponent says one thing in Scranton and another thing in San Francisco" has recently backfired against her with her endoresement of baseball teams. PLEASE!!!

It's about their obsessive feelings of ownership of patriotism and the American way, and how they feel that anyone who doesn't see the US in the same way as them, isn't worthy of it's highest office. Bill Maher's recent show just pointed out how we used to think of republicans as less govt. involvement and more about money and corporate wealth. Now that the religious loonies have attached themselves to the party like parasites, they have added all this wacky moral and religious elements to it and that is what has ruined and taken down this republican party. If I was a Republican, I would be in shame and hiding right now over who they bring out to support the ticket. Elisabeth Hasselbeck??? lol. That is all they have? What a joke!
