Joy And Elisabeth Spar, Whoopi Denies Feud (VIDEO)

On Wednesday's "The View" cohosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar sparred over politics and it got uglier than usual. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg was out sick and unable to intervene, but she defended them Thursday.

Wednesday Elisabeth defended a McCain shirt she wore Tuesday, said she contemplated voting for Obama and told Joy to drink more "Barack Obama Kool Aid" after Joy called Rush Limbaugh a terrorist.

Thursday morning Whoopi was promoting her children's book on "Live with Regis and Kelly" and was asked about the stories of feuds. She downplayed such talk, and explained that women fight differently, "It's never personal." You decide, both clips are below

It's kind of sad that Mrs. Hasselback is just parroting something the Bill O'Reilly said during his appearance. If she doesn't realize that people pick up on that kind of Pete-Repeat act, she's clueless. People who through out the "drinking the Kool-Aid" analogy are generally the ones who have actually done it. (And I say that based on my experiences on both sides of issues)

I have yet to see Mrs. Hasselback PROMOTE John McCain positions rather than simply denegrate those of Barack Obama. It's obvious that she's a lock-step conservative: she's not really voting FOR McCain, she's voting AGAINST Barack Obama.

The difference between the shirt and Joys shows is that it is promoting only them. Elizabeth is selling those t-shirts on Huckabees website. She is lying. She probably thinks that no one saw her interview with Huckabee.
I no problem with her stating that she was going to the RNC. But to wear the shirt was an insult. Also, I wrote the ABC station told that that I did not appreciate the McCains being on the home page. This is suppose to be a show that is for all Americans not just the repubs .... and if I was a repub I would want all of my money back .... because I can't afford $150 k worth of clothes. Hope IRS jumps on that. Hope the RNC is not paying for her kids to travel, she is a running mate not the VP yet. Soldiers leave their children at home for up to a year at a time. I had to leave my child at home for weeks to go to training ... she could go, but it was at my expense .... so the expense for the children should all so be added to her income.

Joy is a great gal. She is thoroughly honest and fearless. This is the type of women we need in American politics and culture; not liars blinded by mere ideology. Without Joy on this programme, it would be, I don't know what. Simply put, Joy is the postmodern, emancipated, intelligent woman.

There was a period of time that I contemplated voting Republican this year -- it was Elizabeth's behavior that convinced me otherwise. She doesn't understand that educated people check facts and look for subtleties in the story that give more information. Just because you repeat a partial truth a hundred or so times, and become convinced that this story is the Truth, doesn't make the evidence go away that it is mostly a lie. No matter how loudly or how shrilly or how passionately you repeat them, lies are still lies.

I don't even watch the view anymore because of Elisabeth. This uneducated twit acts like she is an expert on foreign policy; domestic policy; and the economy. She gets her talking points from Fox News. If I wanted to watch Fox News (although I cannot image any reason to), I'd watch it.
