CNN/Time Magazine/Opinion Research Corp. surveys released Wednesday afternoon indicate that Barack Obama has a small advantage in Ohio, Nevada, North Carolina and a large lead in Virginia, with John McCain ahead in West Virginia.

The Republicans are stealing this election too. Rachel Maddow and Bobby Kennedy Jr. talk about voter suppression: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/27313887#27313887

I recently read a piece in Rolling Stone about McGrumpy that bears reading by anyone with the time to do it. Yes, it's long. But oh boy is he not someone we want near the button.

The shorter version of this article is a synopsized version called "The Seven Degrees of Separation Between John McCain and Your Vote"

Of course McCain's ahead in WV. Isn't that the state where the machines vote changes from Obama to McCain right in front of the voters eyes?

McCain is also in trouble in Florida, Missouri, Indiana and North Dakota.

Barack has many paths to victory whereas McCain has a narrow path.

That was Barack's strategy to begin with: bankrupt McCain by making him play in states he should be winning. His goal was also to build an electoral majority. When McCain brought Palin on board, she locked down the right, but alienated the moderate Republicans and independents. So McCain fell right into that trap.

What a shock! The central irony of the campaign is that the "inexperienced" Obama has run rings around the experienced McCain and Clinton as a campaign manager, while McCain's run the stupidest, most inept campaign I've ever seen, by a wide margin. The voters have noticed that McCain is completely incompetent. Simple as that. So frighteningly incompetent that, after being economically wrecked by eight years of Bush incompetence, the voters are swallowing hard, because of their racism in some cases, and voting for Obama anyway.

Yet most media outlets still report the gap as closing. As if it will offer a rationalization when another election is stolen.
There is encouragement in the fact that JM has to exhaust his resources campaigning in these states that were once thought as GOP locks. BO can outspend JM by at least a three to one margin. As they say, money talks and BS walks.
JM is now campaigning heavily in Pa., despite the fact he is down by anywhere between 9-12% in the polls. He knows he needs the 21 electoral votes. The electoral map is shrinking for him and he knows Colorado and Wisconsin are gone, Virginia is a long shot and even North Carolina if iffy.
Twelve days to go. It can't get here fast enough.
