We have the tape of a 911 call made by John McCain's brother earlier this week.
He called the police emergency line because he was angry he was stuck in traffic.

The whole incident,dare I say, is kind of funny, although it could be said I have a quirky sense of humor. Funny or not, the man had no business tying up 911 with his ridiculous traffic complaints. I agree with Dr. Collymore that the McCain's brother should have been penalized.
the better question would be, would joe tie up the president (if mccain wins) with pointless griping and personal pet projects?
Can't stand John McCain, but there's no accounting for siblings. They will always embarrass you. I'm sure 911 Joe thinks the same thing about brother John.
A week and a half from now, if everything goes OK, we won't need to ever hear about 'Joe the Brother' again.
The extended family of politicians is often shocking and disturbing. ..but ultimately not newsworthy. Remember Billy Carter? I think the best attitude the press can take is the same one the cop does at the gory car wreck: "keep moving folks, nothing to see here!"
Irascibility runs in the family, apparently, as does irrationality seemingly. I keep seeing John as a ship's captain, roaring about strawberries stolen from his fridge.

While I agree wholeheartedly with everything you've said I think there's another factor that should also be considered. It's a sense of entitlement that this entire McCain family thinks it has to be the masters of the United States, never mind their lack of suitability, intellectual acument or basic commonsense. They are the Patricians they think and, despite using the average American for their own ends, they none the less see him or her as the plebians or serfs of American society whose only role is to serve their grandiose and arrogant wants. Had this stupid act occured in the UK this silly man would have been promptly arrested and charged for wasting police time - our emergency services are interlinked - and abusing the emergency service. Since while dealing with him a genuine emergency might have been happening elsewhere and lives might have been put at risk while the operator was dealing with Mr McCain's not too intelligent call.

Here in "Communist Country" (as Joe McCain dubbed Arlington and Alexandria), we only allow the use of 911 for valid emergencies,. The "they shorted me three Cheetos in this bag" complaints should be directed to the 911 systems of the more "pro-American" parts of the country.

I think the problem Joe McCain has is related to his brothers sinking polls.He no doubt had a vision of what his life would be like with his brother in office.Reality is trumping all those dreams and he knows those dreams are gone for good and will never return.Thankfully they're both on the same page now.
So now he's pissed about waiting in traffic, like all us other shmucks.

I was wrong, he made the call the day before Obama's appearance in Leesburg.
Too bad, I pictured Mr. McCain sitting in his car in gridlock traffic, knowing that Obama was the reason.
Oh, well. If you live in the DC-area, you have traffic, old guy -- even YOU.
I suppose that traffic, like the voters, is supposed to do exactly what Mr. McCain says it should do. That's what happens when you lose touch with the real world.
BTW, the traffic jam was caused by Obama's appearance in Leesburg, VA.
