McClellan Endorses Obama

NEW YORK — Scott McClellan, President Bush's former press secretary, says he is backing Barack Obama for president.

McClellan made the endorsement during a taping of Comedian D.L. Hughley's new show that is premiering on CNN this weekend. The former Bush administration official said he wanted to support the candidate that has the best chance for changing the way Washington works and getting things done.

He's the second former Bush administration figure this week to publicly back Obama, following former Secretary of State Colin Powell. McClellan caused bitterness among his former co-workers with a tell-all book that criticized Bush.

I am so proud to be American. How far we have come as a nation. Still have ways to go. But if this is any indication of hankering for some kind of change, I think we're on the right track. instead of the Bradley effect we should be talking about the Bush effect. Those that worked for or supported Duhba" and now are afraid to say they support Obama.

Powell, McClellan, C Buckley, K Parker. P Noonen, M Murphy and on & on & on... could have remained silent and safe, voted for Obama and went on to support the republican cause UNSCATHED. But instead they choose to stand up for what would improve this country. They chose to be proactive toward positive change.

I work in a middle school, my world is young adults that live by the "I'm rubber and you are glue" line of thinking. McGrampy has perfected this. Even 12-15 year olds see through this. they can't wait to vote for Obama during his reelection.
