Palin Fashion Includes Scarf That Encourages Voting...For Democrats

I Like ItI Don’t Like It

The news of Sarah Palin's colossal, RNC-funded shopping haul has placed the Alaskan governor back squarely in her role as being the main source of drag on the McCain ticket, as critics lampoon the candidate's overtures to America's Plumbing Joes while decked out in $150,000 worth of new high-end gear. According to MSNBC's Chuck Todd, things are said to be "tense" between McCain and his running mate, and, if you take a look at this picture, from Jezebel, I think it's pretty easy to see why!

OH NOES! Why on earth is Sarah Palin wearing a Democratic Party keffiyeh, festooned with donkeys and the word "Vote?" Why won't McCain question her on her ties to radical leftist accessories?

So, yeah. I'd say that this is money well spent by the RNC! In my imaginings, this scarf cost Palin $15,000, and all proceeds went directly to ACORN.

UPDATE:
A blogger suggests that this scarf was given to Palin by "someone in the crowd at a Reno rally." A photo essay cited as evidence fails to provide conclusive proof of anything other than the fact that Palin was previously seen at this rally, sans accessories.

MORE UPDATE:

Handscarf

Here's a picture of Palin being given the Democratic Party Scarf by someone at the rally, so the RNC is off the hook for this one! Essentially, Sarah Palin will wear anything!

I personally think that's actually a Republican ploy to get Dems to be okay with Reps getting elected. She is signing a scarf for a supporter of the same colors, but its not her close up, nor the same pattern.

Have you ever heard the saying "there's no such thing as bad press"? This is it. Its just bunk, to increase her visibility and like-ability. FLUFF, to make her bigger.

I'm going to agree with BRIAN ROSS, ABOVE. [READ.]

How about a polar bear or rainbow scarf?

Although, Its nice to see her doing her part to help the planet by reusing.

She should atleast know the party symbols. Come on now, she doesn't have to be a candidate to know the symbols. I like elephants, but I will NOT have a "republican elephant" in my collection.
11:34 AM on 10/24/2008
Oh My God, she doesn't even know her own party's symbol?
I bet she knows the symbol of the AIP!

And yesterday, on Keith Olbermann, video footage of Palin speaking, and SHE WS WEARING A POLAR BEAR PIN!!! Um, Hello...? Supporting polar bears now, Palin? She''' probably vote for Obama, victim of her own party's confusing ballot system.

The confusion can be blamed on AARP and their "Divided we fail" campaign.

Was that polar bear pin carved from walrus ivory?

Oh dear. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, is she?
If she weren't the devil incarnate, I would feel sorry for her.

I can just hear her excuse, "Well I thought those gol-dern donkeys were suppose-ta' be pack mules carryin' freedom to all those 'Real Americans."

Or maybe, "I'm such a maaaavrick I have donkeys instead-a elephants on my scarf."

I'm glad to see the update and have confirmation that the scarf was a gift. This makes me think about a couple of things... First of all - where WERE her handlers? They reduced the number of press seats on her plane so she could add more staff. And second: What else could someone gift her that she might wear?! This could turn into a great game! A newer version of "Stump the Candidate".

Well, in fairness to Sarah, it's hard to tell the difference between a donkey and an elephant.
09:55 AM on 10/24/2008
she is so stupid she probably doesn't even know the significance of the donkey or the elephant in politics...just moose!

You'd have to explain what it means to be bipartisan to Palin. Thus far she has never demonstrated it. Oddly McCain took her on because she "took on" the sitting governor of her own party. Now she's eating him alive too. Rewarding ambition without the intellect to control it is a SCARY thing.

And I think that Moose Pie Barbie is really a Democratic Stooge, sent in to appear stupid and sabotage Mac's campaign. And she is veeeeery good at that job. You betcha!

I CAN HAS FREE MOOSE-COW SCARF?

lol.

If it turns out that she was 'vague' on which mammal represented which party...I'll be the first one to not act surprised.

Just for fun, think about what other accessories she could have been handed at a Republican campaign event?

Any ideas, girls?
