Piper Palin's Makeover (SLIDESHOW)

While Sarah Palin's style has been the focus of the sartorial scandal we're now calling 'Onehundredandfiftythousanddollarsgate' (if you have a better idea, by all means, share it below), let's not forget that the 150,000 bucks was used to clothe the governor's husband and children, too. So, besides Sarah, which Palin has been the greatest beneficiary? We're picking Piper, who's been at her mother's side and in the public eye throughout the campaign. From her magnificent manicures to her sassy scarves, this little girl has been sitting pretty. Check out her transformation below.

For the clothes, she changed her story too many times. From day to now she and the family dress more fancy, high class. I would never let any of my daughters where the clothes Piper is wearing. Just wait until she gets back to Alaska she will be charging the state for everything she can think of or write it all off as a tax deductible.

U.S. Republican Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska was found guilty of failing to report more than $250,000 in gifts from a powerful constituent. Sarah Palin, does the same things, if not more.. That 1.5mil to repair the hockey warehouse, all those gifts she got and probably took to build her house. Maybe she was learning from him, how to get things for free and have the state pay for it all!!

As much as she ends up carrying Trig around, I say Piper deserves some nice threads and a fake lv because I'm sure that baby is heavy for her. (Of course, I'm saying this as someone who isn't a Republican and has not donated funds to McCain - Palin's campaign).

No one here has a problem with Piper. She's too young to understand the clothes thing and hasn't done anything wrong. What most people on this thread find objectionable is she's not in school, her mom's parading her around for the campaign, amd campaign money isn't supposed to be used to buy clothes (even for cute little girls).

Contrary to Hesselbecks rant, I find Palin's use of her children as stage props sexist. What would we be saying if a male candidate hauled his whole family, minus the preggers one (why? if they are so proud of her choice), including a challenged newborn, up on stage, reminiscent of a traveling road show?
