The fact that some of these magazines are folding is no surprise. Many of them are useless. The ones for guys are nothing but a shameless excuse to pander women and alcohol. The ones for women must recycle their story items between themselves and or recycle them, because they are all about the same subjects weight, looks and men and or food. Totally useless waste of paper. As for the Television media, maybe they are starting to have second thoughts about having spent so much time and effort pumping up the Republicans and the Bush BS Administration. I think they now know that they were stupid.

never heard of it.

From the look of the cover, it looks like a knock-off of FMH. I haven't read that one either. You can get better porn for free on the web.

I hope MSNBC is the first of the Cable networks to fold. God would be smiling down on me if Keith Olbermann, David Shuster and Chris Matthews were out of a job. It would be one good thing to come out of a crappy economy.

Although I suppose, since these mags are folding left, right and center, that my comment is even LESS apropos, it still bugs me to see the word "media" treated as singular.

The media ARE tanking.
The medium IS tanking.

(Don't EVEN get me started on datum and data. Even *I* don't want to go there.)

Beyond that, however, although it saddens me to see print in general becoming obsolete, since I haven't been moved to "read" (i.e., look at the pretty pix and soft porn) any of those mentioned above, it's hard for me to muster any real sympathy.

Let the flames begin!

Spoken as a true-red McCainiac..., LOL !!! Kinda hate being confronted with truthmaticals ? Likely find better listen /view at Fox and RUsh,Savedge parent company's so why bother with msnbc when you are in control of the remote/dial and is your choice to listen up or not...Silly rant at face value and more so if inspected !!!

Most of these rags are superfluous. They're just ads with a few lines of text and a bunch of celebrity hype with photos. Bye.

Agreed - windbag TV news 'reporting' is what I am waiting to see fall.-FOX first - yeah!

Magazine subscriptions are crazy. Its costs over $200/yr just for People magazine. Why? Oprah's magazine is good and the subscription rate was good too but I was tired of seeing ads for clothes and purses equivalent to a mortgage or car note. I'm just not into spending that kind of money.

....and yet Fox News is doing just fine with great ratings and enough revenue to sign Hannity, O'Reilly and Glenn Beck to multi-million dollar contracts.

It's seems someone is doing it right.

07:42 PM on 10/24/2008
Never bought or cared 4 radar anyways.
