I cannot imagine Cindy McCain as first lady. She always seems so morose and looks like she's in pain. Cannot imagine John McCain as POTUS...too awkward and angry. Not what we need in the 21st century.

I noticed Obama has Morton's toe (the second toe longer than the big toe). Only about 10% of the population has this. The Statue of Liberty also has morton's toe.

The first pair of shoes (black with white wedge heel) are made by designer Taryn Rose. They sell for about $500.00 - $600.00. I know because I have those same shoes -- I cannot wear high-heels anymore.

If I re_member correctly I believe Taryn Rose was a surgeon. So because she stood on her feet for long periods of time she did what no other designer had done: design comfortable, high-fashion shoes for professional women.

I have no problem with spending money on high-fashion clothing, but seriously $150,000 on clothes (including a Louis-Vitton handbag for Piper her 7-year old!) plus another $25,000 on make-up and hair are more than extravagant. Clothes are expensive, but smart shoppers know how to mix and match starting with the basics.

Hillary was seen wearing the same pantsuit more than once. I think she wore the yellow suit at least 3-times. Granted I have not seen Sarah Palin every day, but I have yet seen her wear the same outfit twice. For someone professing to be a 'soccer-mom' isn't that out of character?

I like that the Obamas are practical, yet stylish. Why any woman in a leadership position would want to continue promoting the idea that we should wear feet, knee, hip, back-injuring heels is beyond me? When will we rebel against the ancient practice of disempowering women by making them unsteady on their feet. You rely on your feet and legs to keep you grounded, for pete's sake!
