Waaaasup! The Pro-Obama Version

Classic television ads are few and far between. And only occasionally do they blend into the politic dialect (see: "Where's the beef?" Mondale v. Hart, 1984).

The "Wasssssup" Budweiser spots were -- for avid television watchers -- one of those memorable ad moments that had pop culture significance. Now, the very same characters are reprising almost identical roles in a short clip on behalf of the Obama campaign.

And... it actually works.

Here is the original, for those interested in making a trip down memory lane to the days when things were simpler and the beer a bit smoother.

The group to credit for the new spot is Chopshop @ Believe Media a filmmakers boutique that puts out "original short film programming."

Listening to Obama's speech, it is 100% irrefutable he is the better candidate for President. So much more inspirational. So much more intelligent. So much more honorable.

Say what you will and continue your arguments of hate and divisiveness, but in your small black hearts, you know it to be true.
