Bill Clinton To Campaign With Obama For First Time

WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will campaign for the first time alongside former President Bill Clinton at a rally next week in Orlando, Fla.

The two will appear together Wednesday in the perennial battleground state, Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said.

Orlando sits in an important swing part of the state, where Clinton could help Obama among the white working-class voters who so strongly supported his wife.

Bill Clinton was cool toward Obama following the bruising nomination battle between Obama and Clinton's wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. However, any lingering animosity was put aside when both Clintons gave rousing endorsements of Obama at the Democratic National Convention in August.

Since then, Bill Clinton has campaigned for Obama on his own, but the two have not appeared together at such an event.

I really wish Obama wouldn't have to consort with Globalists. One could argue that we wouldn't have warrantless wiretapping if it wasn't for Slick Willie (he deregulated the Telcos). You could argue that the financial mess wouldn't be here now (he installed NAFTA). Being a Bilderburger and CFR member, on top of being lovey dovey with G. W. H. Bush doesn't help matters in the least. And don't forget, he just had Johnny boy speak at his latest self aggrandizing world charity. You know, the one that helped finance his wife's run for CEO of the USA. We haven't had a REAL Democrat in office since Carter. And you see how that was tolerated. Welcome to WAR Inc.

I imagine they were saving this to the end. It seems likely that they were saving this one to the end so Obama could appeal to white middle classers and to look more presidential at the finish. Another reason why David Axelrod is 10 times smarter than most campaign managers.

You are so right. You gotta admit that Axelrod & Co. have performed strategic bombing on a massive scale. There were times when I thought all was lost (primaries) and then "BAM", another one bites the dust. He spaced out the endorsements like a well disciplined martial artist and was never pulled in to devious traps. I have no doubt books are being written about this, but hopefully it evolves faster than the rethugs can retaliate. And, trust me, they WILL retaliate. Let's do this in Jimmy Carter's good name. He was, after all, the last REAL Democrat. Let's restore the name of the Mule to mean for the little man again. Stubborn and Proud. Black, Brown, Yellow, Red and yes, White.

...and don't underestimate what Robert Gibbs has meant to Obama...he's been with him since is Senate campaign as have Axelrod and Plouffe...these guys know hand to hand combat...and, as most have noticed by Gibbs' "entanglement" with Hannity recently, this guy is a real heavyweight with the requisite amount or ruthlessness needed to protect Obama's image and message in the media...only on rare occasion has the campaign been caught off guard...Gibbs believes that the best way to fight rumor is with fact...before the rumor becomes the truth...the Axelrod/Gibbs/Plouffe trifecta is quite a formidable one-two-three punch...the campaign is highly disciplined and stays on message...even some Republicans profess awe with Obama's campaign, his finances and his army of ground support...

Now it is time to put our money where our mouth is. In 9 days, we must go to the polls and finish the job. It has been a long two years. we are close to our goal and we must see this through. If you haven't already voted, I urge you t o do everything possible, even if it means taking a day off. This is no longer about the Democratic Party, it is about the United States of America. We can not let this country down by staying home. No matter how long I have to stand in line on Nov 4, my vote will count and we will make this a better nation where our opinions will matter again.

Joe Biden will be in Greenville North Carolina. Greenville North Carolina is basically the Capital Of the Rural Portions of North Carolina. The Campaign is making a strong PUSH for North Carolina. If they win North Carolina, and Virginia he want need Florida.
