In 1973 Nixon's policies of free-trade and free markets have almost all but destroyed American manufacturing that supplied most of the world's goods at one time (if you remember the pre-Nixon 60s you know how great the American economy really was and STILL CAN BE).
Next, if you read about the cause of the Great Depression it had to do with unregulated commercial banking practices. There is not a dime's worth of difference between what happened in 1929 and now. And like Hoover, Bush will make sure his buddies get most of the 700 billion dollars.
What amazes me is just how stupid the average American is who voted for Bush -- not once -- but twice! I knew in 2000 that Bush would destroy this country. The only silver lining to this is Bush will also destroy the Republican Party. I can live with that.
I hope Milton Friedman is roasting in hell for the agony his destructive economic voodoo policies have caused.
I would pitch in money for that commercial to be run. Please let us know if we can help get it on the air?
Please that video says it all. OMG!! That will show anybody who has doubts about anything. It's so real now, people are hurting and people who've worked all their lives are broke. And the children, please for petes sake think about the children! Help get this video out! Please Keith Rachel Chris someone this is real and its needs to be shown for the whole country to see.
Both parties have its good and bad... strength and weakness...
Nothing is perfect, but...
this ad is very powerful coming from a little girl in a house being foreclosed...
Sad to see where we are today... but keep chin up and things will get better...

Absolutely terrifying. Is this being run anywhere? I think it could do serious damage in the rust belt. It's so simple and effective. It's like the Daisy ad and a preview for some hyped-up horror movie all rolled into one.
Keep drinking the Kool-Aid, it's oh so good.
The GOP is.
...And that particular flavor is:
McCain-Palin Flavor----if you like George W. Bush flavor, you'll LOVE new McCain- Palin flavor.
NOW WITH 30% MORE HATE, FEAR AND LIES!!!
Get some today....
;-P
Amazing video. Simple, great quality and most important, a strong message. Very moving and very true.
Okay, I give. Who produced this and for what purpose?
My name is John McCain, and I approve this message:

Who made this video? It's really professional and well directed.
If you look at where the most poverty and crime is in this country, it is in the big cities.
Take Chicago for example, where Obama is so proud of his "community organizing".
Body count: In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago(and that stat doesn't include Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother murdered on Friday) ; 221 killed in Iraq.
Sens. Barack Obama & Dick Durbin,
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.,
Gov. Rod Blogojevich,
House leader Mike Madigan,
Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike),
Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley)
.....all Democrats.
Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago .
Of course, they're all blaming each other.
Can't blame Republicans; they're aren't any!
State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country.
Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look 'em up if you want).
Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.
This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. And he's gonna 'fix' Washington politics for us!
As much as you Libs want to blame George W. Bush for everything that is wrong with your own life, maybe you should look in the mirror.
This doesn't make any sense. What are these statistics at the national level? Do you even live in Chicago? We are supposed to reward the Republicans? If so, for what purpose? Not for the last 8 years and certainly not for the "stellar" campaigns you folks are running. We've been told in more ways than one that Republicans only put certain "small pockets" of this country first.
When you do a bad job, you get fired. The extent of which will be determined on November 4th. The Republicans look in the mirror and they don't care what they see? This that what you're trying to articulate? You're on the wrong website if you expect empathy, jerk.
I'm not looking for "empathy" here. I'm just pointing out that liberalism always generates the exact opposite of it's stated intent and cities like Chicago, Cleveland(where I grew up) and New Orleans are perfect examples.
That pretty much says it.
Greed is not good, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney. You were put in power to rape and pillage America to feather the nests of the Wealthy One Percent, and in that you did succeed.
However, you will go down in history as criminals. I will make sure that my grandsons know of your disgraceful behavior. History will never be kind to either one of you.
The Obama campaign needs to see this. This video is powerful. It hits you in the heart, you feel the pain of what you see, and it stays on your mind. What does it take to get it on TV?
This little gem should be on TV!
