Obama Crowd

Barack Obama drew a crowd of over 100,000 at a rally in Denver on Sunday, the AP reports:

The Obama campaign released an initial crowd estimate of 75,000 people. That was later upgraded to "well over" 100,00 people, a tally confirmed by a Denver police spokesman.

The setting, on a sparkling day in this battleground state, said perhaps more than Obama did in his actual speech. His campaign is capitalizing on the scope of such rallies to get people to cast votes early, permitted in Colorado and more than two dozen other states.

Below are some great photos of the event, courtesy of Getty.

Taxes were put into the U.S. Constitution because in American history agricultural businesses felt burdened by too many taxes and felt that businesses were not paying their fair share of taxes. Vanza Devereaux in The Government of a Free Nation,'63 Her book on Amazon Book Store on website.

Rachel Maddow said tonight that tho there was a large crowd, not that many people voted afterward, and that early voting was "light."

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

GO VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!

The funny thing about this, is that McCain went to the same city and got only a crowd of 4,000! Now if we can translate this into votes, then we would be set!

Haven't you people realized WHY there are so many people that come to see the Royal Obama? They are just like most people, they want to see what he looks like and how many times he can change his mind. Those people there, are NOT necessarily going to vote for him. They are just curious as to what he is like. After they leave, then they discuss what he as said, or lied about, then they put their minds together and decide who they will vote for. I'll bet 100% do not vote for him!! I would like to give my opinion on the terrible things beind said about Gov. Palin and her clothes. Do you think that Barack Hussein Obama was thrifty in paying ALL THAT MONEY FOR HIS GREEK SCENERY? NOW he says he will spend millions on his inaugural speech, well, maybe he should wait for the election to be over first. He has spent enough money on this campaign to get the USA government almost out of debt, bought every person in the USA a health insurance policy for a year, bought enough food for millions of families for a year, helped the people that have lost their homes and could have stopped lieing during this entire campaign. The saying what you see is what you get, he is an empty suited dummy that knows nothing about being the president or the CIC of Our Country.

You still don't see you are out of the loop? What would make you feel hope again? Nobody cares about Sarah Palin's clothes really, we care she completely out of her league as you are. No disrespect but try hope, try peace, try prosperity, try being someones friend. Smile, it feels good.

Huh? Are you for real? Do you have ANY IDEA how much money the US Government owes, or how much those of us who have health insurance paid for it? I thought not.

Listen Smaggie, if I wanted my money to pay off the national debt I would have sent it to the IRS, but I gave it to Obama because I wanted him to spend it on his CAMPAIGN. Me and millions of other people, we gave our money to Obama for him to SPEND so that he could get ELECTED, so that we don't have to put up with four years of that decrepit old man and his bimbo making things even worse than they are. If you think after we paid for it, we're not going to vote for it, then - wait, I've got it! Maybe you should run for vice president.

As someone that lives in Denver I know that all of these people didn't waste two plus hours of their Sunday to wait for Obama to tell them lies. There was little info about his rally, except what was put out by his campaign.
The people showed up in October and in August because they love him and his message of truth. Each time he comes here more people show up to see him.
You seem to be completely misinformed and just making up stuff to drive your delusions.

Where do I start? Okay... here goes. To get the country "almost out of debt" is going to take a lot more money than Obama's campaign has and also will take an end to the war to help achieve that goal. Second, buying a health policy for everyone is a Democratic idea, not the Republicans' (which he plans to address). Third, feeding the poor is a responsibility for EVERYONE, not Obama's campaign funds. Have you ever volunteered at a food bank? And finally, if you think money stops lying, where do you get your logic? It sure didn't work for McCain's campaign or McCain himself for that matter. Marrying an heiress didn't stop him flip-flopping on the issues throughout his career and he spews lies on a daily basis, lies that have been repeatedly debunked. What you see isn't alway what you get but I like what I see. I like what I hear. I like Obama and his presidential demeanor, candor & intelligence. Instead of attacking people because they point out the flawed message of Main Street vs. Prada, try listening to the man. Do some fact checking from MANY sources and by all means... think!

I have voted Republican my entire life but NOT THIS TIME!

ENOUGH!

I have been insulted by the Repulican party for the last time. After being told that I'm not a REAL American, not a patriot and any number of things, they lost me.

I do NOT identify with Sen. McCain who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and married a 12 place setting sterling silver service along with 7 houses and 13 cars. I have to laugh when he talks about people like me. He doesn't know the first thing about me.

Republicans for Obama!

This is the America I recognize and know. All shapes, sizes and colors standing shoulder to shoulder, united together, in good times and bad. No hurricane, tornado, flood, attack or hate mongering can come between us. This is the true American spirit!

Now .... how do you know that.....

Maybe they were already giving out the free stuff they are promising people.

Just wait....after the election, the truth will come out.
Things are not going to happen like people think they will

We are out of money.....too bad the candidates didn't save some of the millions spent
on this election and hand some of it to the hungry people out there.

You bet that not every one may vote for Obama but the voting percentage got to be highly in favor of Obama. Beside, I believe there will be many many of them voting for him after listening to his speech and being there. Success brings and gathers success. Yes, McCain and Palin's camp wish they have that many people attending - even if they are there just to check things out.

I was there and almost everyone raised their hand when Obama asked who had already voted and, judging by all the Obama gear and the chearing for him and the signs and EXTREMELY diverse crowd, it was pretty obvious who everyone had voted for. I've lived in Colorado most of my life, and I will be shocked if we don't go blue this year. I don't know a single person who is voting for McCain. Also, I am an attorney with my own practice and I registered all of my clients to vote, and they all registered as democrats. My paralegal is calling them all this week to remind them to vote. Colorado won't let Obama down.

Well, even though others are trying to say your a Socialist you still have a large crowd. I am for a Third Party Candidate though and thinking things over yet.

Vanza Devereaux in book The Government of a Free Nation,'63 states,"As cities grew people demanded healthcare, fire and police protection, transportation, playgrounds, libraries and put in 3 city forms of government to obtain these services. Thus it is the development of American History, not Socialism to care for people and redistribute the wealth. A smart person does not want to die, or does not want to be in pain, or does not want to have decent healthcare or does not want to have safe housing. A smart person wants all these things.

Yes, The Good Lord and Jesus say care for all and the Bible talks of group living, but if The Good Lord and Jesus say caring for all is Right then it is Right not Socialism. The word Socialism is not in Bible, but the word Compassion is. We can call it Compassionism! I am referring to Good Socialism, not the bad,bad words Communist,Bad Socialists, Bad Karl Marx Socialism Republicans and others try to make it out to be.

Let me add that Vanza Devereaux's book The Government of a Free Nation,'63 can be found on Amazon's Book Store on website.

In American history the agricultural businesses felt burdened by taxes because the other businesses were not paying their fair share of taxes. Thus Congress was instituted to levy taxes and collect taxes according to Constitution.

I was there too yesterday, and have to say it was the most amazing event I have ever attended. I had lots of friends there, but even with cell phones, finding each other was near impossible with the huge crowds, so we were all separate during the event. It was fine, because I met some of the nicest people! I was so impressed by the diversity of the crowd and the fact that with 100,000+ super-excited people there waiting for hours in line and tight in a crowd, it was very peaceful and friendly. I was in line next to a Republican couple who voted for W both times and said they absolutely loved Obama and his inspirational leadership. AMAZING!

I was there, in Denver, yesterday. I'm beyond impressed with the manner in which the rally took place. I arrived there right after 7am and there was no traffic at all. Easy 73.5 mile drive to the location for me. Security was in place with the right balance of being there but not making anyone feel nervous. The crowd was friendly, engaging, caring. I saw one protestant with a sign against Obama walking by the thousands waiting to get into Civic Center Park and all those waiting did was start chanting "Obama, Obama, Obama" rather than engage the sign bearer with vitriolic arguments. After the event I easily and within minutes was back on I-25 driving home. Pretty amazing how the city managed to hold such a rally without gridlock on the streets or for the rally itself. I wrote about my experience under the "politics" category of my blog, http://olgygary.blogspot.com/

I am a registered Republican who already early-voted for Obama and I will never forget the experience I had this one Sunday in October, the experience of being part of 100,000+ people of all races, all ages, all walks of life, all wanting to cast their votes for tomorrow and not yesterday, for hope and not fear.

Are there more Republicans like you? I seriously doubt there would be. And there needs to be if the Republican Party wants to survive in the future.

W must be unbelievably embarrassed by this. He only gathers crowds large enough to deride him. Plus, his handlers sequester him to prevent that.

And there are tens of millions of Americans who simply have no concept of the unity Obama inspires. They'd rather sneer than enjoy the fact that Obama represents MORNING in America. They can only say communist, socialist, terrorist or Muslim rather than see clearly that the man is an inspiration to this nation and to others abroad.

So, the question is: why to Republicans HATE America so much? Really. Why? Is it because their precious Jesus isn't anointing McCain? I really think that's why. Jesus didn't come down from a cloud and touch McCain's forehead with oil.

Surprise! Jesus anointed Obama instead.

There are a lot of wonderful Republicans out there but I bet a lot of the ones who are steadfast McCain/Bush supporters must be in total denial. Why else would they be so blind?

Also GOP has now become the party that loves to hate. If you want (or need) to "hate" something then join the Republicans, you will have lots of support for your hatred, and judgmental prejudice.
