Obama Draws More Than 100,000 At Denver Rally (PHOTOS)

Barack Obama drew a crowd of over 100,000 at a rally in Denver on Sunday, the AP reports:

The Obama campaign released an initial crowd estimate of 75,000 people. That was later upgraded to "well over" 100,00 people, a tally confirmed by a Denver police spokesman.

The setting, on a sparkling day in this battleground state, said perhaps more than Obama did in his actual speech. His campaign is capitalizing on the scope of such rallies to get people to cast votes early, permitted in Colorado and more than two dozen other states.

When this is all over... what we should be hearing about is how badly the news media and all the pundits called the election in these last few weeks. They are spending these last 11 days saying "the polls are tightening" and discussing Palin's clothes and McCain's ha tred of earmarks..­. but (in some awkard attempt at looking balanced or fair) they are missing out on covering one of the most historic, energized, exciting campaigns in US history! They are missing the grass-roots TIDAL wave that is happening, even in "red" states. They didn't cover historically large rallies in St. Louis or Denver. Or Kansas City or Indianapolis.

By Nov 7, this should be the headline. "Landslide­... Where was the Media?" And, depending on the size of an Obama win, this should be a bigger story than the networks 2000 blunder of calling the race too early.

All because they are addic ted to some ratings-driven fantasy about a neck/neck horserace?

I'm in Fort Collins(60 miles north of Denver) and they said we had 50,000 to see him today, but I think it was more. 15 minutes before he spoke, the line to get in was still 2 1/2 miles long.

We canvassed to get out the early vote all weekend here, and I'm getting more optimistic we're gonna bring Colorado home for Obama.

I have been trying to analyze why i dont exactly come across as a straight forward Pro-Obama supporter and always seem to end up at the receiving end of biased responses.­...when all this while i have been trying my best in earnest to get "accepted" here and have a normal conversation like everyone else....pe­rhaps you can help me over here please?
