Guitar Hero Commercial Featuring Kobe Bryant, Alex Rodriguez, Tony Hawk And Michael Phelps (VIDEO) (POLL)

Guitar Hero has hired some serious star power for their new ad for the video game. The ad features A-Rod, Kobe Bryant, Tony Hawk and Michael Phelps in an homage (maybe?) to the classic Tom Cruise scene in "Risky Business." Really great to see Kobe with a big advertisement again. Lebron has gotten a lot of his endorsements in recent years. And everyone knows why. Seeing him in this video may mean he's back on the upswing with some big endorsements. I hope so. This video helps him more than any of the other three - Hawk, Phelps, Rodriquez - who have lucrative endorsement deals. C'mon Kobe. Make it happen!

As for the video, it truly works. It has four popular, contemporary sports icons dancing like Tom Cruise from RISKY BUSINESS to the 80s classic that served as an anthem for that movie. And like that, they were able to simultaneously score big with the young and the old. Brilliant. Brilliant!!!

I Love that song. My only complaint about the commercial is that they cut the song short! I wanna wanna hear it all! I'd buy a cd, but not a video game. But,hay, that's me.

I have 3 teenagers and we have GH 3. We pre-ordered GH: world tour 3 months ago and it ships tomorrow - the kids (ok, me too) can't wait till it arrives!

BTW - this commercial didn't sell it for me, it was OK.

I would have preferred to see Michael Phelps rolling around the couch in the BVD's more...I'm probably twice his age but if Trump doesn't feel guilty then I shouldn't either.
