Hasselbeck On Palin: "This Is Not A Fashionista"

On Monday's "The View," cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck talked about her weekend attending rallies and introducing Sarah Palin. At the rallies she slammed criticism of Palin's $150,000 RNC-provided wardrobe as sexist.

Hasselbeck said on the show that Palin doesn't even know the name of one pricey shoe designer: "She calls Jimmy Choos, Johnny Choos. This is not a fashionista by any means. She's not a clotheshorse." She also said Palin wore cheap vintage over weekend before trying to explain how wardrobe stylists work, and how Palin's wardrobe is not a big deal.

Of course Hasselback is going to zero in on the clothes issue. What else is she going to talk about? Palin's lack of foreign policy experience or knowledge?

Should she quit the show? Who cares? Can she mature and develop an outlook that reflects deep thinking? Who knows? Could she express herself with a less grating voice and shrew-like over-talk approach to getting her views across? That would be nice. Unfortunately Hasselbeck like Palin are attractive women with enough intelligence to maneuver their way through life to succeed in their own right. But they will never deliver on substance and depth. Their messages for the most part are flat and non-dimensional. No matter the subject , they still come across as lightweights. Oh, by the way the store where Palin shops carries current , high end, expensive labels. Palin mispronounced Jimmy Choos' name because she doesn't know how to pronounce it not because she doesn't know who he is. And the mere fact that Hasselbeck chose the clothing thing as her "stomping" speech over anything else shows how she prioritizes the issues.

Amazing..this woman actually believes that by her "addressing the clothes issue" she would put it to rest! Give her a crown...... make her queen!
This woman is one of the most egotistical and arrogant people on television today. She would like us to believe she is " as pure as the driven snow" but she is so filled with hate that it is actually frightening.
Obamas message is one we should all live by! We have to work together to turn this country around! I wish I could take the higher ground, as Sen and Mrs Obama have, by keeping it all positive and keeping negativity to a limit. But when it comes to EH....she is pure poison! God help her children!
Please Ms Walters...do not give this woman a platform to spread any more dissent! Our country is crazy enough....we do not need any more dissention..esp coming from a reality show reject!
