Ashley Todd's Instability Seen Well In Advance Of Pittsburgh Hoax

You really have to commend the people who supported the candidacy of Ron Paul. Sure, those guys dressed up in weird costumes, and aspired to fly around in Liberty Blimps, and they terrorized the streets of New Hampshire in their determined attempt to unleash a fatwa on Sean Hannity. But as it turns out, the Paul supporters were much more able than the McCain campaign at discerning the real crazies in their midst. Long before McCain volunteer Ashley Todd decided to foment a Pennsylvania race-war by going all Un Chien Andalou on her cheek, the Paul campaign recognized something in her that ran a little deeper than their own studied eccentricities.

In March, Ms. Todd was asked to leave a grass-roots group of Ron Paul supporters in Brazos County, Texas, group leader Dustan Costine said. He said Ms. Todd posed as a supporter of former Arkansas governor and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and called the local Republican committee seeking information about its campaign strategies.

"She would call the opposing campaign and pretend she was on their campaign to get information," Mr. Costine said last night. "We had to remove her because of the tactics she displayed. After that we had nothing to do with her."

The worst thing is that John McCain was the second choice of his most passionate supporter in Pennsylvania!

She is not crazy! Ashley Todd was very cognizant of her actions, though it was unsuccessful. I am pretty sure that she did not carry out the plan alone; she had help from some of her fellow McCan't supporters. And, what about the other McCan't supporters in TN, who planned to ASSASSINATE Obama and MURDER African American children while at school. This is no joke folks and other McCan't supporters are waiting for the next pathetic gesture. Their HATRED and FEAR has been enhanced by the REPUBLICANS especially Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, McCan't and Palin. Their need to enforce re-enforce HATRED and FEAR will never, ever end.

Do they not check for references when they hire people in the CRNC? I can understand if she was a volunteer, but if they're gonna pay somebody, shouldn't they be responsible to find out their background?
She's been with them since August, and no one noticed she was a little off? Or maybe in the McPalin camp, the standard is so low, she fit right in.

Ashley Todd is a field-repr­esentative of the College branch of the RNC. Her salary and expenses are paid by the CRNC from the funds of the RNC.

What Ashley did when with Ron Paul campaign should have been grounds for dismissal from the CRNC.

Instead they kept this loose cannon in reserve...and shipped her to Pittsburgh after Rep. Murtha said "Western Pennsylvanians are racist."

Come-on! Pittsburgh, the place where people say "yins and red-up and nebby," are going to be swayed by a Texas twang?
Why not Colorado? New Mexico? Nevada? They need help. They would understand her.
But, those places are weren't prepped for crazies!

All the "news" including the pix were released by the RNC.

Note...when Ashley's boogey-tale wasn't grabbing national media's attention, the ante was upped to: beaten unconscious, sexually molested.

At first, I wouldn't consider that the RNC would set this up, but as the facts became known, when I considered the other stupid things they have done, I had to reconsider the whole senario.

Pittsburgh is angry to be branded 'racist' ...and more angry that the RNC tried to cement the smear of our town with this stunt!

I hope everyone remembers that this is a very sick young woman and that her sickness makes her dangerous in a way that involves violence against herself. I would suspect that she is what psychiatric parlance labels "bad borderline." That means that she is susceptible to psychotic breaks. I would expect that there may be some episodes of that in her past. She needs to be on meds, in therapy in a hospital.
