With heavy voter turnout expected on Election Day, both parties are amassing thousands and thousands of lawyers to keep an eye on the polls.

Senator Barack Obama's campaign is expected to send at least 5,000 lawyers to Florida alone. The first recruitment e-mail message the campaign sent out nationally received 6,000 responses from lawyers willing to volunteer. Meanwhile, Senator John McCain's campaign has lined up "Lawyers for McCain" to spread out at polling places in closely contested states as advocates for the ticket.

Both campaigns plan to use the lawyers to protect their supporters at the polls, help untangle ballot problems and run to court should litigation be necessary. Given the heated ballot challenges in the 2000 and 2004 elections, getting legal talent on the ground on Election Day is becoming as common a tool for the campaigns as advertising and polling.

Lawsuits. Let us clog the courts with lawsuits for every verifiable instance of voter suppression or vote fraud.

I just hope somebody is watching the Voting Machine Technicians who can 'visit' their machines 24/7 with nobody watching! Here in North Carolina we have 100 counties. That means that the most powerful men in NC on Election Day are the 100 Techies who can make ALL the numbers look like whatever they want them to look like. Ever heard of a 'thumb drive?'

50 State Computer Security Experts Needed

Hacker Tally Fraud is a major concern as changing a couple numbers is easier for a Hacker than all the legal mischief!

This was believed to have occurred in 2000 and 2004 and explains the sudden shift in Florida outcome after Gore was announced the winner!

For each state computer that keeps the tally a Printout of the Tally every minute can provide a check and an audit trail to spot when a manipulation happened so it is easier to correct!

As a democrat and with election day 08, finally in sight, I am in a state of anxiety; I cannot get the image of the 2000 election out of my mind, and it is frightening; to be so close, and yet to know what the republican party is capable of, but I do feel consolation in the great discipline and organization of the Obama campaign through out this long process. I can only pray that they are prepared to over see this election, and see that 2000 does not happen again, ever..NOT THIS TIME, and that not one vote will be stolen in this most important election in my lifetime.

Obama~Biden, 08!
Yes we Can!
