Washington Independent:

Earlier this month, Republicans in Ohio lost their lawsuit challenging a state rule that allows voters to register and vote early on the same day. But the state party had no intention of conceding the point. GOP officials demanded records from all 88 county boards of election identifying every person who took advantage of same-day registration and voting. In one county, the Republican district attorney even opened a grand jury investigation.

...

Even when the challenges fail, Republican officials persist in their claims of voter fraud in what appears to be an effort to lay the groundwork for challenging the outcome of Election Day. In about a dozen interviews, legal scholars and voting experts say this broad-based attack could lead to serious and continuing challenges to the legitimacy of the next president.

Republican PANIC: I guess if you TAX the money of the R1CHE$T 1% all this is bound to happen!

"DIRT" is being thrown at Obama at a RECORD RATE!

1. On Hardball the "0LD" Tom Delay is throwing the word "M@rxist and C0mmunist" at Obama!
2. McCain is saying "Soci@list" and "Redistributions"
3. Palin says she wants to bring up Rev. Wright and that is how Delay concluded "M@rxist"
4. Bachmann says he is "Ant1-Amer1can"
5. McCain is implying he is on side of "Mu$lim Terr0ists"

McCain continues the BUSH Claim that "TALKING to someone GIVES THEM POWER!"

McCain is Dangerously unprepared to be President, just as Bush was totally Unprepared!

This shows the P0WER OF the R1CH over the Republican Party!

People, if you are contacted by this organization, don't agree to attend the meetings. mocampaignforchange.orgignforchange.org, is a con job. Its the RNC using voter purging of dem votes. Neither the obamma camp, nor move on.org was familiar with it, nor using this. When I tried to locate thier website, its gone. Hello, voter fraud. I was contacted via my email with this group passing itself off as an Obamma affiliate. Its NOT. Mo is a swing state, and high on the list of states needed to win for McCain. If he purges the dems votes here he can steal the election. Report this as I already have and am, but the more the better.

It's sad that the Republicans' only means of winning is via voter suppression and other mans' of cheating.

Whatever happened to One Person, One Vote?

50 State Computer Security Experts Needed by Democrats

Hacker Tally Fraud is a major concern as changing a couple numbers is easier for a Hacker than all the legal mischief!

This was believed to have occurred in 2000 and 2004 and explains the sudden shift in Florida outcome after Gore was announced the winner and then withdrawn and Bush given win!

For each state computer that keeps the tally a Printout of the Tally every minute can provide a check and an audit trail to spot when a manipulation happened so it is easier to correct!

NOTE: amidst all of the points previously mentioned, we have some media outlets really working the "Bradley" affect.

WHY? So the claim can be made that all those remaining numbers of votes cast, were SKEWED, due to the "bradley effect"?
Is the plan to exterminate as many votes as possible, so as to then explain any remaining discrepancies between current polls and the votes that survive - amidst all these current double digit PRE-ELECTION DAY leads - as being the result of the bradley affect?

KEY POINT:

Even when the challenges fail, Republican officials persist in their claims of voter fraud in what appears to be an effort to lay the groundwork for challenging the outcome of Election Day.

Add that to:

Allegations insinuating connection between voter registration fraud(ACORN - while ignoring republican hired hand who manipulated democrats into changing their registrations) - and attempts to link this to the Obama campaign.

Add....

Attempts to require additional I.D. particularly of young voters.

Add ....

battles all across the country in various states, attempting to PURGE registrations either through caging...

Add.....

Republican led efforts to disqualify legal voter registrations which end up disenfranching voters from voting... through claims of incomplete registrations ( forms that used confusing and VAGUE directions / and language) ...

And the whole ugly picture starts to look like a STRATEGY TO DISENFRANCHISE AND SUPPRESS VOTERS FROM VOTING, particularly when looked at WHICH GROUPS are being EJECTED, PURGED, DISENFRANCHISED.

This is no coincidence ( the claims of fraud).
It is beginning to appear as part of a PATTERN, a STRATEGY TO SUPPRESS VOTERS FROM VOTING, and the question that must be raised is: HOW MANY VOTES FROM WHICH PARTY ARE BEING PURGED, DISQUALIFIED, EJECTED?

ARE THE PATTERNS POINTING TO EVIDENCE THAT THE STRATEGY WAS AIMED AT SUPPRESSING DEMOCRATIC VOTES FOR BARACK OBAMA?

Bush Orders DOJ to Probe Ohio Voter Registrations

In a déjà vu moment from Campaign 2006, President George W. Bush again is asking his Attorney General to launch an investigation into the registration of hundreds of thousands of new voters, many of whom are expected to vote Democratic.

Bush forwarded to Attorney General Michael Mukasey a Republican request that he intervene in the battleground state of Ohio to force 200,000 new voters to either verify the information on their registration forms or cast provisional ballots, which are often thrown out after the voter leaves the polling place.

They should look at themselves when it comes to voter fraud.

Check out this article in Time Magazine, "7 Things That Could Go Wrong on Election Day"
(continued)

Voting is not mandatory in the Netherlands, and depending on the type of the election, voter turnout is generally 50-80% (of all eligible voters). However, whatever the total turnout, I have never had to stand in line and wait for my turn longer than a couple of minutes, never had more than say 5 people in front of me; the processing of the voters at the polling place is quick and efficient.

Of course, errors are human. So, we now and then get a picture in the paper of a proud baby who received his first voter pass at age 18 months and we all have a good laugh, but after that life goes on. There has never been any real problem of voter disenfranchisement, nor of the reverse.

I know the system of registering citizens is different in the States, but government does have your address on file, it does know where to send you your tax forms, you can get a birth certificate etc., so I fail to understand why that sort of data cannot be used for the voting process as well. Something has to be devised for party primaries (we do not have that over here), but that cannot be too hard.

Everybody, registration movement to strict regulators proclaims to have the best interest of country at heart, so why not simply implement this kind of system?

Check out this article in Time Magazine, "7 Things That Could Go Wrong on Election Day": http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1853246_1853243,00.html

The thing that struck me most in that article was in the first paragraph: "We can go to the moon, split atoms to power submarines, squeeze profits from a 99 cent hamburger and watch football highlights on cell phones. But the most successful democracy in human history has yet to figure out how to conduct a proper election."

I have never understood how you in the US manage to continuously (and often deliberately) make it so difficult for your citizens to actually vote on election day.

In the Netherlands, we are all automatically registered to vote. At birth, your parents basically register you as a citizen when they go to City Hall to declare that you are born and were given the names X,Y and Z. The first time there is an election, after you turn 18, you automatically get a voting pass sent to you at home. If you haven't received that by a certain time before the election, you go and get a replacement. When you vote, it's checked against the voter roll present at whatever place you vote in your district, your name is crossed off the list so you cannot vote a second time (supposing you would have two or more passes, for whatever reason), you get your ballot and you do your thing.

(to be continued)

An article, published on Colorado Ethics Watch, reports Colorado Secretary of State Mike Coffman, a Republican candidate currently running for Congress, is being sued for the wrongful removal of voters from registration rolls, siting violation of federal laws and the removal of tens of thousands of voters.

Talk about destroying the fabic of democracy....that is exactly what the GOP is doing by working fervently to disenfranchise voters. If any group needs to be investigated for this, it is the GOP.

Why would they think with an Obama win that the election would be stolen? That's because they stole the election in 2000 and by extension in 2004.

If we overcome attempts at stealing this election, and take office, here is what we need to do.

1. Break up big media. It needs to be diversified for the survival of non-biased news and information.

2. Fix national voting mechanisms so that they can't be tampered with and can't be gamed.

Those two things must be our priorities! Without fixes for media and voting, we can not survive as a free nation.
