Olbermann: Sarah Palin Is A Socialist

In a Special Campaign Comment, Keith Olbermann cites yet another example of the McCain campaign accusing Barack Obama of something of which they themselves are guilty. In this case, Sarah Palin is accusing Barack Obama of advocating socialism when she literally used that word to describe the collective wealth sharing in her home state of Alaska.

Yes... the government was found to have paid some news organizations to run favorable stories about the Iraq War when our casualties were mounting..­. they also had them use "retired military personnel" who acted as propagandists (is that a word?) to spread Bush's nonsensical messages about the war. These military types were briefed by the Pentagon and were basically Bush's on-air spin doctors.

Now, I have not looked anything up to confirm this, so anyone can correct me if I don't remember this correctly.

I enjoyed his campaign comment tonight, but I'm afraid Ms. Palin will never understand his point. But she did score the highest marks of anyone from the McCain campaign in the talent portion of the competition which included divisiveness, lying, and believing her own press.

I saw this on his show tonight. ANd immediately I thought, "The Obama campaign should have this in a tv ad".

She has repeatedly attacked Obama for "sharing the wealth" and yet practices this in Alaska herself. If this doesn't cry out for an ad, I don't know what does. PLEASE, PLEASE. PLESE, PLEASE do an ad on this Senator Obama.

And make sure that ad includes what Senator McCain said on MEET THE PRESS some years ago, when he opposed tax cuts for the rich over targeted tax cuts for the middle class. Now that he has done a 180 degree turn, he needs to be called on that.

This ad needs to be out tomorrow.
