Olbermann: Sarah Palin Is A Socialist

In a Special Campaign Comment, Keith Olbermann cites yet another example of the McCain campaign accusing Barack Obama of something of which they themselves are guilty. In this case, Sarah Palin is accusing Barack Obama of advocating socialism when she literally used that word to describe the collective wealth sharing in her home state of Alaska.

1. Trinity is a church in the large mainstream denomination "United Church of Christ". I doubt that they would allow a truly radical church to be part of the denomination.

2. Tom Delay family has always been heavily involved in the oil industry. Tom Delay even grew up in Venezuela because his father had oil business dealings down there. I am sure he has a vested interest in protecting the oil industry and making sure their profits are not regulated.

3. Tom Delay has a broad view of socialism, and he is against the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Endowment for the Arts (both would be considered Socialist by Delay).

4. Tom Delay is not, however, above supporting Communism in that he has, as a member of Congress, smoked Cuban-made (communist-made) cigars.

Does anyone seriously listen to Tom Delay? He grew up in Venezuela b/c his father was a big wig in the oil industry. His oil ties go deep and he is grasping at straws to defend big oil from getting any kind of regulations put on oil's record-breaking profit structure.

He also ran for Congress on a platform of being against the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Endowment for the Arts... I am sure that all of these would be considered "Socialist", according to Tom Delay.

How did she manage to have her fancy home built in Alaska by the same builders used by Ted and not pay for it? Don't think that the 'rightys' like Hannity have given up. Listen to him on the radio; he's much more insane and full of lies there. It will set your hair on end. You'd think the end of the world is near.

Keith makes me uncomfortable, even when I agree with him, which is most, if not all of the time. I just feel like a righty watching Hannity. I know there's a truth gap between Keith and Hannity, to say the least. But watching Keith is like being in an echo chamber for me.
