I Like ItI Don’t Like It

The prime minister of the Czech Republic was not having it when a reporter with a video camera interrupted him as the prime minister was pushing his baby carriage. We think Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek may have overreacted, however. There was really no call for smashing this journalist's head against the wall.

Typical Eastern European mentality - sorry but that's the way it is there - I know. There is no excuse for violence..
Interesting factoid:

Most eastern European politicians (Think Poland, Czech, Hungary) CANNOT be prosecuted for ANY crimes committed during their legislative careers. THEY ALL HAVE IMMUNITY while members of parliament!! Imagine that in anu WESTERN country! Wanna commit a crime? Get elected and then do it!!

These are ancient holdover laws from the communist era. The majority of countries political parties always campaign to "change" this law but somehow seemingly forget once elected. This has been happening each election since the Soviet Union breakup in 1989 and the fledgling republics declarations as sovereign independent republics.

The photographer was taking pictures of the PM's kid. His head should have gone through the wall.

Rude and Intrusive Photographer is Pushed Against Wall When Czech Republic PM is Trying to Have Some Private Quality Time With His Son

Verdict ... Justified

What was the photographer getting photos of ? The PMs nose hairs??? The piece of salad lettuce in the PMs teeth??? An ingrown hair on the end of the PMs chin??

What was so f**king important and a "must have" photo at THAT very moment?

This is the same thing that should be done to the so called reporters that O'rielly sends out to ambush people. A few times of being beaten to the ground in front of other cameras will get the message to other 'paps'.

Very nice. The Prime Minister was right I feel. Look at what that photographer was trying to do. That wasn't a reporter. That guy was purposefully trying to take a picture of the PM's baby not the Prime Minister. He went around the PM, and aimed the camera directly at the baby's face.

I would have done the same thing as well. The guy was trying to profit off of the child.

I wish I could imagine that. A regular person? When have we seen anyone like that run for office? Not going to happen. However, I do think that was a bit harsh, the Czech Pres. doesn't know much about paparazzi I guess.

How many of us would react strongly if a stranger suddenly got way too close when we were out with a baby?

Decent people protect babies; paparazzi have the morals of dogs, would you let one come close to your baby?

If someone was walking up on my baby like that yutz with the camera, I'd probably be inclined to dropkick the f*cker into the wall.

Violence is NOT the answer... but it IS sometimes the RESULT... and this shouldn't surprise us at all. I believe that public figures should expect to have their picture taken when they are in public places. They should sign autographs. They should let you take their picture with you for your MySpace page.
However, I can only imagine what it must be like to have the Stalkarrazzi following your every move, taunting you to get you to look or react, taking pictures of your children and/or the spinach in your teeth. It's easy to judge the public figure (right, Britney?), but we have to remember celebrities of all levels are people too and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
Otherwise, I think you should fully expect a head-shove or an umbrella to be weilded at you. So there.
