I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Barack Obama is out with his own attack ad Wednesday morning. Watch it here.

The McCain campaign released an ad Wednesday morning claiming that Barack Obama was more style than substance when it came to tackling the nation's current economic woes.

Titled "TV Special," the spot is, in a way, reminiscent of the "celebrity" label the GOP pinned on Obama during the summer months. And it continues the argument that the Illinois Democrat's plan "to spend and tax" would plunge "our economy deeper into recession."

The ad is pegged to the Obama campaign's purchase of time for a 30-minute infomercial this evening, a television buy that Republicans have decried as showboating. But in sending out this ad alert, the McCain campaign continued to push false charges that Obama would be delaying the start of the World Series baseball game. He won't. An executive at Fox, where the game is airing, said it will start on time. The pre-game will merely be replaced.

"Not ready YET" could have been the "flip-flopper" of 2008... and it could've been effective, too.

If they had started it four months ago.

But can you admit at least honesty on the Issues & what he will do it Elected inviting us in to help him!
Your campaign gives me a headache trying to keep up with all the attacks, lack of you & palin being on the same page, each day some kind of different WHINING & it truly reminds me of a out of service Car on a ROLLERCOASTER!
So now I good to MUTE with my favorite tech. tool when ever your or palins face come on my TV!
You would have done better if you did your campaign yourself John with a qualified VP choice....

That is what a sore loser's sounds like!
Hard time for plain/mc cain to have to hear the truth of Issues they would rather spend time in republican dishonest attack mode & misrepresentations with their surrogates.
But we all got to hear Barack Obama ourselves honestly say how he felt about the Important Issues & what he intended to address if Elected with our Help!. It is our Democracy governement in which supreme power held by the people--gee wouldn't that be nice for a CHANGE to be respected as we deserve & now demand as American Citizens.
Instead of being stubbornly shut out of the Issues until we are needed again to bailout failures.
They cannot even keep straight between the 2 of them what they are. who they are, what they stand for, or whose campaign it is, & who is in control of the campaign. THEY BOTH JUST DO NOT GET IT!

You can find all kinds of things if you look at continguous letters in an "alphabet soup" way.

Bush / McCain have taken most of Americas weath and handed it over to their rich buddies.
People are not afraid of taxes, we have been beaten bloody with them for the last eight years.
You cannot tax a cardboard box someone lives in when they loose their job and home.
When the savings are gone, and what little left is threatened by hyper-inflation. We no longer fear someone taking that away with a tax John. We fear you!

Amazingly, McCain said in Tampa today that the foreign challenges facing this country (in which "millions of lives are stake, including American lives") will remain AFTER the current financial turmoil passes. He claimed that he was ready, and Obama not, to deal with these issues after the financial crisis passes. These raises some profound questions about McCain:

IS he going to leave the issue of millions of lives on the back burner because of the financial crisis? Keep in mind, this is from the man who did not want to debate and suspended his campaign to provide "leadership" that achieved nothing to pass the first bail out package.

If he is elected, and something happens elsewhere in the world while the financial crisis persists, which it well might for three to five years, will he be able to deal with it? Not to mention other domestic issues?

Is he capable of dealing with MORE than one issues at a time?

Sort of off-topic, but since it's mentioned here, I find it humorous/LAME/SCARY that John McCain keeps talking up the point that: ..when I'm President the world series won't be delayed for a Political Ad. Isn't this sort of like saying that he would fire the SEC chairman (which the Pres. can't)? What sort of control over the media and professional sports does he expect the President to have?

Especially since the game tonight WON'T be delayed for the ad, they're just cutting the pregame short - no world series game this season has started before 8:30.

Not to mention that it's a continuation of a rain delay so they're probably only going to play about three innings.

I'm kind of surprised they don't WANT to start it a bit later for better national ratings - it's only starting at 5:30 on the west coast, probably over before they hit prime time there.

It is long past apparent that mcsame has no idea what the words, "style" and "substance" mean.

I just received a robocall from John McCain's campaign against Senator Obama and stating that he supports terrorist. I live in Arizona and this is the first call I have rec'd.

I called the number back from the caller id number and left a message complaining and asking them not to call me again. Can we flood their phone number with calls at 1-866-520-5769 maybe we can cost them a lot of money in phone charges, if we can't clog the line?

Thank you.

I called and left a couple of long messages about how I hate terrorists. Maybe they'll waste time listening to them.

there's certainly plenty of substance in mccain's conservative, deregulating economic theories. in fact, there's a whole worldwide economic meltdown to show what it can do.
