Mccain

In his appearance on CNN's "Larry King Live" tonight, John McCain acknowledged his camp's recent criticism of running mate Sarah Palin after days of stressing that reports of tension were overblown and mistaken.

He ended that part of the discussion by emphasizing that he had clamped down on the complaints and backbiting:

MCCAIN: Could I just mention one thing before we -- Sarah Palin?

We're one team, we're together. You're going to have, with all the advisors and counselors and all that, there's always a little friction within different camps and all that.

KING: But your camp has been criticizing her.

MCCAIN: Oh, yes. But you know.

KING: You let that go?

MCCAIN: It's just nonsense. It's nonsense. And we've put out -- you know, I've said to everybody, look, if anybody has a complaint, take it to me or Sarah. But, our relationship and our teamwork couldn't be -- I couldn't be happier.

Every time that I see mccain and the way he has run his campaign, I am reminded of the lyric in the Jonathan Edwards song, Sunshine(go away today),
"He can't even run his own life
I'll be damned if he runs mine"
His election would be the death knell for the country.

If there were two people I would be sure would never talk to each other ever again, after a couple of weeks, it would be these two losers.

And SHIFTED it to OBAMA!

He will lose even bigger if he continues his "FOX EM" Gimmicks and TRICKS!

This is taken from (there is a lot more McCain):
http://www.rollingstone.com/news/coverstory/make_believe_maverick_the_real_john_mccain/page/1

"John Sidney McCain III and George Walker Bush both represent the third generation of American dynasties. Both were born into positions of privilege against which they rebelled into mediocrity. Both developed an uncanny social intelligence that allowed them to skate by with a minimum of mental exertion. Both struggled with booze and loutish behavior.

At each step, with the aid of their fathers' powerful friends, both failed upward. And both shed their skins as Episcopalian members of the Washington elite to build political careers as self-styled, ranch-inhabiting Westerners who pray to Jesus in their wives' evangelical churches."

Excellent article. Both John and Cindy are looking for validation. It's sad that at 72 years old, Johnny still wants to prove he's good enough after a naval career of mediocrity, and Cindy wants to return to D.C., a place she was not accepted, because she's was McAngry's piece on the side when he was still married to his very popular first wife, Carol.

This is an incredible article. I read it a few weeks ago and have been forwarding it to everyone I know. It should be mandatory reading before anyone is allowed to cast a ballot.

Yeah, well they tried for a few days to make it look as if she were "on her own" in order to satisfy some of the GOPers who feared they would lose their seats on her account. Musta backfired. Guess the campaign got some marching orders from "someone" in the neocon or Christian evangelical camps that backed Palin as their pick. The idea they have is that Sarah is gonna bring it home for them--even if it's not true, it's their story and they are sticking with it.

One of the traits of mavericks is that they are not team players ................... They often go out on their own and believe that their viewpoint is the ONLY viewpoint that matters, regardless if the majority has a different view.

So with 2 so-called mavericks on the McCain ticket it's no wonder that there is trouble between the 2 campS (Palin made the reference to 2 distinct campS).................... Why does a single campaign need 2 campS?

The McCain/Palin ticket has evolved into a ticket where there are 2 CHIEFS and NO INDIANS....... They both want to be in charge, even though Palin knows that she is the # 2 on the ticket, and is only in that position because McCain (the #1) picked her.

Thank God that they will not be in the White House for the next 4 years ................. Just imagine, NOTHING will ever get done because the 2 mavericks will constantly be at each other's throats, and will spend valuable time undermining each other and jockeying for the top position in the Republican party.

Palin is overly ambitious (which by itself is OK), but she brings that PITBULL/BARRACUDA VENOM to the table and makes everything UGLY.

I'm sure that's true - he couldn't be happier. Today might be the happiest day of his life - because as election day draws near, each succeeding day promises to be not quite so happy... And after... oh my...

Yep, today is the first day of the rest of John's life, which might settle into quiet ignominy. However, if Dems don't get out the vote the sucker could win. That's too pailful to contemplate.

One thing i have noticed about both Palin and McCain. Usually, neither one can form a complete sentence when speaking extemporaneously. Just read transcripts of their appearances on interviews and suchlike.

"MCCAIN: It's just nonsense. It's nonsense. And we've put out -- you know, I've said to everybody, look, if anybody has a complaint, take it to me or Sarah. But, our relationship and our teamwork couldn't be -- I couldn't be happier."

What else can they do, when they're trying to spin Obama's eloquence as commie muslim Chicago terrorist socialist antichrist Harvard elitism?

Funny of McCain to deride eloquence when his supposed hero Teddy Roosevelt was one of the most eloquent of presidents. Frequently criticism is nothing more than the critic's own sense of inadequacy, and in McCain's case, he knows that he cannot speak as well as either Obama or Palin. And he is hopping mad about that.

McFailin just contradicted himself. First he says "we're one team-we're together" , then he speaks of friction with "different camps". Make up your mind, Johnny boy.

Obama/Biden 08.

she only hopes that she won't have to go back to her SAD tanning bed in Alaska and another pregnancy. little does she know that the GOP is aleady picking new faces for the next election. she will be old news by then. already is. her base, the RR, is deflating too.

Everyone who says Obama is a socialist or Marxist, if you truly believe that, then LEAVE THE COUNTRY FOR THE NEXT 8 YEARS if you TRULY BELIEVE IT. Now, we all know you aren't going anywhere so just shut up. You all sound stupid and silly. McCain picked a unqualified candidate. Period. The first judgement call a presidential candidate makes is who he/she choose as their running mate. All of you McCain supporters CANNOT HONESTLY SAY that when McCain picked her, YOU KNEW WHO SHE WAS. McCain's FIRST MISTAKE? He didn't properly vet her and the result was she got vetted by the media and she showed she wasn't ready for the big stage. McCain lost a LOT of votes simply by picking Palin. With SIX days to go, we are now hearing things coming from the McCain camp calling their own VP candidate a "diva", a "rogue" and the BEST ONE, a "WHACK JOB". How can you honestly think that an undecided voter will vote for a ticket that calls their own candidate, a WHACK JOB? Are you serious? People in your own party are jumping ship like rats on a sinking ship and you want us to believe that McCain will be a better president when he can't even show control over his own campaign and his own party is straight dissing him now and having a loser on Survivor and a unlicensed plumber to represent you? Yeah right.
