With less than a week to go, Barack Obama hit the campaign trail on Wednesday in the Southeast. He started his day in Virginia before flying to North Carolina for a few rallies. After that, it was off to Florida. Fortunately for him, the weather held.

Senator Obama embodies everything that those of us who love our country have come to think was not possible again in the great US of A.
Compassion. Intelligence. Ideas. Clarity. Humanity. Tenacity. Diligence. Humility.
I now realize my deep disappointment towards the fear and hate created by the other side is icing on the caked-on tears of sadness. Those oft-shed Sunday mornings as Stephanopoulis rolls the "list of soldiers who died in Iraq this week." It's about what "W." His unjust war. His heartlessly delayed reaction to New Orlean's deluge. His cronyism with silver spooners and oil tycoons while playing "down-home boy."His phoney, but effective appeal to suburban upwardly mobiles earning way less than 250,000 a year (Paupers, to the Bushies, I'm sure.) His lazy addresses to me, an American person--not even taking time to practice a speech first to appear like he wanted to help my country. Or present us to the world as a non-dufus.
When you look at Obama--when you listen to Obama--it only amplifies what we've lacked for nearly a decade. I keep the faith until next Tuesday. Thanks to the man I voted for, I've learned it's okay to hope for the best in yourself, your country and leaders. And that good guys---really, really unimaginably legit and good guys--no matter what bullies they face, may actually win. And they can play fair while doing it. Which will make the victory even sweeter!

I am a small business owner I see first hand how people are struggling in America . People tell me I can buy your pottery today or put gas in my car. My customers are losing there jobs. Losing there houses. My sales over the last three years have declined. I may go out of business .The Bush Administration and there buddies have really succeeded at destroying this place I don't understand why they want to pit americans against each other . Barrack Obama offers hope. This country needs some. I pray that he wins !

I have NEVER heard a candidate ask for the vote of, or even address the disabled of America as if they're an independent, thinking and intelligent part of the electorate. I'm not disabled, but I'm extremely impressed and touched by his inclusiveness. Someone mentioned that the hand sign means I love you (American Sign Language). He continues to educate us doesn't he? He truly is a unique and amazing man.

If you have problems of ANY kind at the polls on Tuesday, DO NOT LEAVE the booth you are in...call over a polling place official and make them investigate the problem...use the camera on your cell phone and take pictures if you need to...or call 1-800-OUR-VOTE... and it is ABSOLUTELY LE*GAL for you to take one person of your choosing into the booth with you to help you....dont let anyone tell you it isn't ok.....

I live in GA and my mom and I voted early 2 weeks ago. After I voted my mom wanted me to help her. When I went over to her booth to help her the attendant came over and told me that I could not be in there with her. I told them that this is my mother and she asked for my help. Well, about 4 of them wanted to practically jump on me. They said I could help her was if she was handicapped and I would have to fill out a form first. I asked for the form and they asked what handicap she had. I told them that she is not computer savy (we all know how the older generation can be about computers, God bless them). Apparently that was not a good enough reason and they did not give me the form. They said that they are there to help and did not let me help her and brought over a book showing me something in there that says that the person had to have some handicap. They practically blocked me and did not want me near my mother. I almost wanted to tell them to call the police then. You know I was very upset when I left that place. I think they prey on the elderly hoping they make mistakes. Thank goodness I had already showed her how to choose the selection for Obama/Biden on the screen before they came over.
