I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Barack Obama continued his media blitz tonight with an appearance on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Obama's appearance comes on the heels of his half hour long infomercial which ran in prime time tonight on several major networks, as well as some cable networks. Watch clips of Obama from his interview, including the candidate conceding the "Sean Hannity vote," and how Obama has been undergoing therapy to ensure that his white half doesn't prevent him from voting for himself.

I love this man also. I think of him as one of my sons. I'm worrying if he's eating correctly, if he's watching out for himself, if he's taking the necessary precautions here and there. I'm drained just worrying about him. But I love him so dearly and pray for his safety.

Naomi Klein must be enjoying the fact that progressives have begun to play the disaster game, too. Great upheaval = time when people will embrace new ideas = opportunity for big social change. I love it! And thank god this time it won't be the neocons who exploit the opportunity.

Am I missing something?

Really, that's exactly what I was thinking. The McCain camp just makes themselves look like fools when they go McCarthyist.

anarchist slayer of first born ....why not?

No, it's just that you probably have a well-functioning brain and the ability to think and do research on your own. Something most of the McCain lovers seem to be missing.

wow.
Obama looks so ooooold in this video.
It has to be the lighting and the background...or is it the stress?

I remember Jimmy Carter going in a young man and coming out old.

Stay strong, Senator!

Probably a combination of the 2. But I'm sure he'll be fine. We need him right now and I'm glad he has stepped up. But, of course, he has to be stressed right now and just tired from making all of these appearances. He'll get some rest after the election and be ready to go on Jan. 20. I thought Hillary looked great after she had a chance to rest after the primaries. I think it's mostly just the rigorous campaign schedule. :-)

The presidency seems to age men over night. Tough position to run for and hold, I guess.

What a great interview and I thought the commercial was BRILLIANT! I was in tears when he spoke about his mother. I have cast my vote already and hoping all Americans get out and vote on Tuesday. Let's bring hope and change to America. The rally with Bill CLinton was great last night too. I think Florida will be a win for Obama.

the great thing about Obama is his ability to immediately adapt to his situation. He's on the Daily Show he gets it. It is expected of him to make a few jabs at himself but still look presidential. I don't think Bush has looked Presidential once in 8 years.

You put him in a room full of senior citizens and he knows their concerns as well as they do. He's not going to make a joke about being half white, he might make a joke about his grandmother thinking he is too skinny. Then follow that with talking about his mom and her insurance issues.

Make no mistake, I'm not talking about being phony. People aren't stupid, they can see through phony every time.

He is the real deal. All the people out there that voted for Bush, think about your choice 8 years ago, and tell me you have any right to tell me Barack Obama is not the best choice for president.

"I don't think Bush has looked Presidential once in 8 years."--------Sure he has,Republican Presidential, best of their best.On a serious note though, does anyone believe W would've had a shot at the presidency if it weren't for his name and his dad?Did he do anything before his run for office that would make anyone take notice and say"now that is one smart guy,we need him in the White House"?Seriously!

I don't know about everyone here, but everytime I see Barack Obama, and he speaks, I just tear up. I have never done this with any other person running for the president of the United States. I know he will make an outstanding, wise, President of the United States of America. I'm so proud at this moment in time with our country in peril, and people getting losing their jobs that we have the best man out there who acutually and honestly and deeply understands. He's like a friend to all of us. So make sure you tell everyone to VOTE for Obama!! Obama/Biden 08" And yes Obama is funny! And I would love to have a beer with him, he's awesome!!!

The convention speech and the Obama-infomercial last night, both made me tear up with joy, pride, and hope. This is a great man.

I feel all of the above and I've been quite the crybaby. I tried blaming it on the menopause, but I had to get real. It's that HOPE light at the end of the tunnel that keeps tearing me up.

Impressed again by Obama and his ability to laugh at himself.
Loved the Bradley effect conversation.
Not only who is Obama but now who will he vote for when alone in the booth.
Vote early and lets win this one.
Volunteer before the 5th and feel part of this historic election.
