Was that Brad Paisley behind the bar?

To MNCurler: I think it's well documented that Wurzelbacher, in his own words, saw his neighboors talking to Obama and approached him, not the other way around. I support his right to do that and to ask tough questions of anyone who expects to run the country (after the election the opportunity probably wouldn't happen again). And I may be in the minority, but I don't see the dissection of his personal life as necessary. I'm skeptical of the man's motives because of how specific his question was, as he seemed to know the answer already ($250,000 being the well publicized cut off for a tax increase). At the same time, he seems to be enjoying his time in the spotlight and not crumbling under the criticism.
Anyone who feels the media has given him a rough going over should ask the media about it. Why did someone look into his finances, his income, his qualifications? I'm not sure, but really the person you should be mad at who made him more of a public figure is John McCain. By mentioning him as much as he did during the 3rd debate, you could see that he was going to use (in the worst sense) this opportunity and this man to try and reach a section of working class voters. To turn around and blame Obama for Wurzelbacher's private life coming to light is absurd and not based in reality.

Thomas Haden Church is underappreciated. He is a very talented actor.

Don't support Busch, who contributed to Bush! Drink PBR!

With this economy, it's all many of us can afford to ease our troubles. Thanks Joe Case Pack.

You Dems are a riot. Did any of you even think that if your boy, Obama, hadn't come up to talk to this guy this would be a non-issue? He simply voiced his concerns about Obama's plan- just like you all are doing about McCain. Maybe we should take all of you and try to publically humilate you just for speaking your mind. What the Democrats are trying to do to this guy is scary, discredit him in every fashion simply because he had an opinion.

And you all want to call the Republicans Nazi's? Yeah right.

Pathetic...If politicians DIDN"T walk up to citizens to answer questions....they would be dictators and not leaders WHO LISTEN.

Unfortunatley, you don't listen to the news or do ANY research...Joe does not have a plumbers liscence NOR does he or will he own a business that makes MORE than $250 K...

He has NEVER worked for or made that kind of money.

Why should ANYONE listen to or answer questions from those who MISREPRESENT themselves...

Oh that's right...the republicans have been doing that for years. Hey...how about all that economical growth and jobs created over the past 8 years from the tax-cuts??? Not.

Ps...pres-cot*******b_ush helped finance the "not-c" effort...

And you didn't even mention that his name isn't even JOE! Lol

This guy went on right-wing talk radio before he ever met Obama. Sam pushed past lots of people to get to Obama (Obama did NOT "knock on his door") to ask him a BS made-up question. Obama spent a lot of time with him and paid him a lot of respect. John McCain then mentioned him 20 times in the debate. And now Sam has a PR agent and is working on getting himself a C&W recording contract?

You're a loser and your candidate's a loser, too!

What would a Palin brain scan reveal?

Look, the truth is out on "average joe". When the guy is trying to get a book deal, is being offered a recording deal from Aaron Tippen (who has been a NOBODY in country music since the early 2000s) and is signed on with a publicity firm/publicist, then this is NOT AN AVERAGE AMERICAN.

Typical of Redumblicans, they want to pluck someone out of obscurity to prove their points/policies and then they get upset when some investigation into that individual is done to find out about their cred. The feigned anger is getting old. McCain/Palin built this frankenstein.....

Only in America. Too bad it wasn't you (then you wouldn't complain). Good for Joe the Plumber.

Why don't you want your candidate's associations to be investigated? What's good for the goose.............I understand State computers were used to investigate Joe. Hmmmmm... not very ethical. But, of course, I expect nothing less.

Just like the republican majority, Joe will fade away into obscurity.

But it sure is fun watching him make a complete @$$ of himself!!

Is "Joe the Plumber" the new face of the Republican Party? Let them try to run away from it..

Believe the actor. Do not pay attention to the man randomly picked by obama who elicited an inconvenient answer.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 05:33 AM on 10/30/2008

Um. Yeah.. .uh. This isn't Joe the Plumber that Thomas Haden Church is portraying.
You DO realized that, don't you?
This is JOE SIX-PACK, the mythological gumbo of stereotypes the GOP ticket evoked to represent "real" Americans... the Main Street contingency... you know, the folks from the Pro-American parts of the country...
