This is one of those comedians that have to tell you when you are supposed to laugh.

I hope this happens. He's one of the funniest comedians out there. My husband and I go to his show every time he comes to Dallas. He's so funny, I'm laughing right now just thinking about his joke about the boogeyman in the back room and the kids running past the door to turn on the light. I'll watch his show faithfully. Just like his sitcom.

Well I always thought George was the weak link in that show. I've watched the reruns all the way through and except for dropping storylines off in the middle of nowhere and giving no closure to them: The Rich Niece, the gang girl getting to work for George, the wedding planner plotline, etc.

George's poor poor attempt at starting a "catch phrase" which was something like Waapaa(?) that always sounded silly didn't ever catch on. And after a while the storyline of the cheating, lying, thieving, conniving mother got REAL old,as did the sheer dumbness of the character of the son.

So I don't watch reruns anymore. I did love Sandra's appearances as the accident prone worker. She was hilarious...George? Not so much.

So a late night show for him would probably do better on Telemundo. But I have no desire to see him. I like Dave and Craig.

Sandra Bullock was a genius for producing George's show. That show was brave on many fronts. Good luck on the new one!

Yeah... But it wasn't funny. Tired sitcom cliches are still tired sitcom cliches even if you add a Hispanic cast.

Yay! I'd watch it!
