Joe The Plumber Ditches McCain (VIDEO)

John McCain announced that Joe the Plumber was at his rally in Defiance, Ohio Thursday morning. But when McCain called on the campaign poster-man to stand up, he wasn't there. "Joe, where are you? Is Joe here with us today? Joe, I thought you were here today," McCain said. When there was no response, he added, "Alright, well, you're all Joe the Plumber so all of you stand up!" Watch:

McCain campaign officials later said that Joe was slated to appear with McCain at a different campaign event on Thursday.

Someone said a few pages ago that Joe just wanted to ask Obama a "simple honest question." His question wasn't truly honest--He implied he was ready to buy a 250K business when he had just thought or talked about it, and it's not a 250K business. (Would love to know what his plumbing employer thinks of all this.) Seems to me Joe is a Rush Limbaugh dittohead-type who injected himself into Obama's campaign to try and wow the gods of the far right. He knew cameras were rolling.

That was the highlight of my day and the day isn't over yet. What a reflection on the McCain/Palin campaign. Joe showed up for Palin's rally yesterday. Seems everyone is more in love with Bible Spice than the Maverick. She just stabs her mentors in the back and takes their jobs.

At least 12, 000 in attendence for the Obama Rally!
Considering a great deal of his supporters (like me) had to work, imagine what the turn out could have been.

Mccain last week in Red City Sarasota - 3000 for his evening event.

Nice advance planning. McCain told Joe he would be his personal plumber at the White House and his seven other homes, so Joe was out getting fitted with top hat and tails for the inauguration. NOT!

If I found out the school had pulled my child out for the day to go see a McCain rally I'd be beating down the door and yelling at everyone in sight! No way is a rally just to make his crowds look bigger worth missing a day of school.
