Sherri Shepherd doubles as Tracy Morgan's wife on "30 Rock," and on Thursday's "View" she talked about filming a recent sex scene when Alec Baldwin stepped in. After Morgan flung her on her back multiple takes, Alec stepped in to show him how it was done, carrying her, settiing her on a couch and laying on top of her. Sherri recounted, "I ran and LEPT up on Alec Baldwin.. He straddled me... I got a little crush on Alec Baldwin!"

Sherri makes much more money than I do, so maybe that counts for something, but I feel so dumb after listening to her or reading a comment that she has made. Maybe she and Palin can put their heads together and make one brain!

She's a comedian, so a lot of that is probably an act. You don't get to be on shows like that by being a dummy. Even if she is... what the heck. She seems like a very nice person.

Can someone possibly explain to me why it wasn't Mo'nique that was hired for the View instead of Shepard???

Can you tell me why it wasn't the invisible woman as compared to that half wit Hassenfeffer?

Actually, I would have loved to see Sheryl Lee Ralph as a host - she's not a comedianne (that's Whoopie's and Joy's role), but she is a beautiful, well-rounded black woman), but she would have represented a good counterview view - different from Whoopie, Joy, and especially Elizabeth (IMHO)

Alec should introduce her to the concept of "reading books".

Then she might not be so ignorant.

Has she figured out that the Earth is a planet that orbits the Sun yet?

What's wrong, you mad because Alec didn't jump your bones? Ha Ha Ha

I don't know who she is, but she has poor taste.

I've had a crush on Alec ever since I was 19. I'm now 36. He's H O T.

Will somebody tell me what is Sherry Shepherd's claim to fame? I never heard of her before The View.

"fame" is an awfully strong word. Just as Elizabeth's path was being a loser on Survivor... Sherri was a c-film actress and stand-up comedian to small venues. She was not well known - even in her primary audience of Black patrons

Elizab I T CH has only gotten this far with her looks, just like Palin. It's a man thing.

Next time, try not to sound so condescending. She was a comedian, yes. Not only to 'black patrons' but apparently we were the only ones appreciating her. She is really funny given the proper venue. I'm not a View watcher, so I don't know what she does there. However, merely because you've never heard of someone and their talent doesn't necessarily make them an unknown. JSYK

She's a comedian, I know she was on a bunch of those VH1 "I Love The...." series.

She's had several bit parts in movies. The View is her first long term exposure though.

I heard Sherri say she was STILL undecided. WTH?!!!!!! Sherri needs to start dating again. To get excited by Alec Baldwin means she's having feelings of desperation.

Sherri is doing better in the brain dept. She's now researching things before she opens her mouth. You need facts to back yourself up when Elizabeth opens her mouth and starts spouting off that McCain/Palin nonsense and Hannity crib sheets.

I knew she was dumb when she said she didn't know if the earth is flat, but today she said she's still undecided. Now that's really dumb. Shouldn't admit to watching the View, I know, but hey, this election has my life upside down in general.

Better than that, did you catch it when she said "this is my first time?" Referring to VOTING.

And don't worry about watching the View, you are in good company. I have been watching it since day one. I only wish that Rosie O'Donnell was there to make Elisabeth cry.

How many other 'high profile' celebrities have said the same thing? It's all ri-damn-diculous!

I remember hearing from somewhere--can't remember where--that Sherri Sheppard used to be a Jehovah's Witness. JW's don't believe in voting, so, if Sherri is no longer a JW, then this could be her first time voting. I know I certainly was overwhelmed when I voted the first time, regardless of how clear the issues may have seemed to be to other, more experienced voters. I'm willing to cut her a little slack this election season.

I wouldn't mind a few hours either with Alec. I hear you on that. His sense of humor and brain are aphrodisiacs to me ; )

Hee! Ditto that. I wouldn't mind wandering around in his chest hairs for a couple years...

Sherri must have suffered brain damage sometime in her life.

everytime I read a Sherri Shepherd story here, and there seem to be a lot of them, I'm amazed she is on television representing women

Sherri acts like she is on a plantation when she is with Lizzie. She speaks to Eliz. so carefully, she rallies around her, she cannot explain herself without explaining to Lizzie what she is gonna talk about. She is really "brown nosing". I would tolerate it a little better if she was like this with Barbara. Notice how Whoopi stares at her when she says something crazy. Maybe it's her BAD body that makes her submit to Lizzie.

I don't watch The View, except video posted here. I do LOVE 30 Rock and hope everyone will tune in tonight to see the sexy, fab Alec Baldwin and equally sexy, fab Tina Fey. Sherri is funny as Tracy's wife on the show....
