I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Bill Kristol knocked his own paper, the New York Times, on "The Daily Show" last night, and repeated his prediction that John McCain will win the White House on Tuesday.

Jon Stewart joked with the error-prone Kristol, who he has mocked before, "You can't look at past performance as a predictor, otherwise you wouldn't be, obviously, still a pundit."

"You're reading The New York Times too much, Jon," Kristol told Stewart, only for Stewart to remind him that he works there. "Oh, it's a very fine newspaper — on one day of the week."

Kristol also predicted that McCain would "win huge," but that even if Barack Obama does pull it off, he ill be a "conventional" president."

There's been a big crack in Kristol's crystal ball since day one. What he sees never comes true but he always seems to be employed (sort of like the entire Bush Administration). The Times gives him a paycheck because they thought, originally, that he'd be a great counterweight to the likes of Collins, Dowd and other "liberal thinkers". What he's become, I think, is an albatross hanging around the Times' neck; they can't get rid of the guy because of the right wing back lash that would ensue but I'm sure they'd like to give him a pink slip because his presence does reduce their reputation as a paper of intelligent discourse.

Maybe Kristol has inside knowledge of how the election will be stolen.

Yeah, well, Crystal has caused a lot of damage to this country. He's a scoundrel. And what do we care what he thinks of the New York Times??? I'm renewing my subscription.

I thought Kristol was fairly intelligent. But obviously is fear of democrats supercedes any sort of objectivity to the point where he earnestly tries and scarily believes in the remote probability that Palin is ready to be V.P. and even President.

Bill is always wrong. always. He adored Palin, as article in New Yorker hinted at. But in 8 years, when palin runs? nah. Send in her daughter, whose love child by then will be in day care, the only school she is likely to attend.

Bill K. is such a fop, with a moronic smile/smirk...technical language for journalism: he is a putz.

Kristol know that the poll workers are cheating for McCain. We all know that several voter machines have been hacked. CNN showed the video on how to hack the machine. Americans can not keep a secret. They show and tell everything on TV.

GOOD INTERVIEW...heading a tad misleading; Kristol himself doesn't believe McCain will win...he's being humorous about it...whatever

good work, Jon

Bill Kriskoll's problem is that he has had such a bad hard on for Sarah Palin since his Republican Pundit cruise to Alaska last year that he can't stand it! Since that cruise were he met her and fell in love with her, he can't stop stalking about her. He even called her a genius once!! Now you know he has it bad for her if he called her that!!
This is why Obama has to win on November 4th!
This is a reminder on why I am voting for Barack Obama!

Why does everyone have their pants in a yank over Kristol being on the Daily Show? Stewart does his schtick and makes fun of him, Kristol laughs and we know where they both stand.

Do I need to articulate something much more than this: I absolutely cannot STAND Bill Kristol? He is so obviously deeply, irreparably emotionally disturbed, and besides that, he's just evil.

Did Stewart actually say that he would have voted for McCain against Gore in 2000?

Why is Kristol "always welcome"?

Why isn't any bartender or cabdriver or Joe the plumber welcome?

Who is this guy?
He's rich.
He has lots of money.
Is that it?

Kristol should be in jail, not on the Daily Show.

This duality of so -called democracy wins no favor with the sharp minded.. Both candidates dont offer the radical change needed to bring the two legged into balance with the greater calling. Materialism plagues the actions of both parties as is relates to the overall sustainability of the web of life..

“Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together. All things connect.” Chief Seattle

Politics will never change the world for the better, its the spirit. The Politic' just changes the ideology to a different rulling power drunk on their victory ,always bringing the same rise and fall of power and degredation of spirit. The great sages such as Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, etc..... have easily paved the path to harmony. Some listen, others pretend to listen, and the rest seek what is right but are blinded by ego.

McCain wins this election. He encompasses nothing that I believe.

Kristol predicts a McCain victory? That's great news, as Kristol is very rarely right about anything.
