The race between Democrat Jeanne Shaheen and incumbent John Sununu has put Shaheen ahead in the polls , which could mean a huge upset for Sununu who has been in Congress for New Hampshire since 1996 and whose father was governor of the state.

Shaheen, a former governor herself, will receive a boost by three trips to the Granite State by Bill Clinton in the coming days.
