Dick Cheney Endorses McCain

I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Dick Cheney

***UPDATE*** Joe Biden responds to Dick Cheney's endorsement of John McCain:

If you ever had any doubt that John McCain would continue George Bush's policies -- you can put those to rest. Just today, Vice President Cheney came out and endorsed John McCain. Do we need any more proof? I'm not surprised. Dick Cheney has been wrong on everything else the last eight years. He's on a roll.

EARLIER: The Obama campaign gleefully sends over an announcement of a major endorsement.... for John McCain... by Dick Cheney.

"In three days we'll choose a new steward for the presidency and begin a new chapter in our history," the Vice President said Saturday morning. "It's the biggest decision that we make together as Americans. A lot turns on the outcome. I believe the right leader for this moment in history is Senator John McCain."

This isn't, perhaps, the story that McCain headquarters wants in the news, though the press is undoubtedly going to play it up. Cheney is, after all, the Vice President.

If there was one GOP official less liked than George Bush it is Cheney. His popularity remains only among the rabidly conservative base who - a year ago - chanted "four more years" when he spoke at the Conservative Political Action Committee conference in Washington D.C.

UPDATE: Sure enough, Obama is set to jump all over the endorsement, having some fun with it in the process. According to prepared remarks for a rally in Pueblo, Colorado.

I'd like to congratulate Senator McCain on this endorsement because he really earned it. That endorsement didn't come easy. Senator McCain had to vote 90 percent of the time with George Bush and Dick Cheney to get it. He served as Washington's biggest cheerleader for going to war in Iraq, and supports economic policies that are no different from the last eight years. So Senator McCain worked hard to get Dick Cheney's support.

But here's my question for you, Colorado: do you think Dick Cheney is delighted to support John McCain because he thinks John McCain's going to bring change? Do you think John McCain and Dick Cheney have been talking about how to shake things up, and get rid of the lobbyists and the old boys club in Washington?

Doesn't look well. Appears small inside his clothes for him, shirt collar is loose on his neck.
Karma is rolling in.
I'll leave him to that.

Does Cheney know something we don't know, and McCain says he can win, I am scared.

Could be worse. He could have been endorsed by al Qaeda. Oh, this writer says he was:

It's true. Al Qaeda's endorsement of John McCain was flashed across news networks -- except Faux noise.

Cheney's "WAR in Iraq was FAKE!" and McCain's "JOE is a FAKE!" And here is WHY!
_________________________________________________________________________
McCain can NOT say "Middle Class" as it CHOCKS him, so he adopted "Joe the Plumber" as a "FAKE" surrogate for the Middle Class.

McCain uses "TRICK MIRRORS" to portray "Joe of Wall Street" who wears a suit and tie and makes $350,000 net income per year look like "Joe the Plumber" who earns less than $45,000 net per year and wears a T-Shirt.

McCain knows "Joe of Wall Street" appears "Corrupt" in the minds of Middle Class Americans!

But McCain thinks "Joe the Plumber" is acceptable to the Middle Class!

In SHORT McCain's "Joe the Plumber" is a "FAKE" that

"LETS McCain SERVE the RICH" but make it look like "He is Serving the Middle Class."

So why should it matter what "Joe the Fake" says about anything? It should NOT!

"Joe the Plumber" was always a figment of the American imagination. Come on, folks -- the guy (who's been speaking out on right-wing radio for months) conveniently shows up at an Obama rally and asks bogus questions about his bogus occupation (no, he is not a licensed plumber), and within the ensuing debate comes McSame with an original ACME plan to use "Joe" (that's not even his first or real name) as a label for an erratic and faltering campaign. If people really believe that "Joe the Plumber" was a "real" guy who showed up at the Obama rally as an "average Joe six-pack" to ask "real questions," they are dumber than the campaign's attempt at a crowd "plant," which has obviously not worked very effectively.

Oh we're shaking in our boots now! Talk about the last nail in the coffin, the fat lady has finally sung.
Now we can go home and start our celebration early by clicking on some of the funnier election oriented videos on You Tube. Without a doubt, my favorite is 'Obama Girl's Mama.' Lots of funny McCain/Palin bits and some real subliminal ones if you use your pause button like what's written on Nana Fazuli's campaign button.

In the last few days of his squandered Presidency, Bush & Cheney are sitting in the Oval Office discussing their plans for the future when the red phone rings.....

Don't answer that, says Cheney.

Why not says Bush.

It could be the Hague calling replies Cheney.

HAIG? Asks Bush with a puzzled look on his face.....Why would Alexander Haig be calling us ?

I haven't read all the posts, but I'm sure someone else has mentioned how Cheney nearly choked on the words right after endorsing McCain. Did you hear that rattle? And he seemed to age 10 years between the McCain statement and the hugh lie about Palin's qualifications (1 minute, 8 seconds). Even he can't continue to get away with lies, without consequences.
