Elizabeth Dole's "'Godless Americans' Ad Is Blowing Up In Her Face"

Liddy Dole deserves to lose for so many reasons. But, in the end, Dole really did herself in with that "godless" ad she ran against Kay Hagan. Public Policy Polling's blog, (PPP is based in North Carolina) had this analysis:

It is pretty clear to me based on our polling this weekend that Kay Hagan will be headed to the US Senate unless something very bizarre happens in the next 72 hours. While numbers in the races for President and Governor are basically unchanged from last week there has been clear movement away from Elizabeth Dole, a sign that her 'Godless Americans' ad is blowing up in her face.

I am from the Great State of North Carolina and I must say Lidddy Dole has been almost invisible in North Carolina politics. I don't even understand how she got the office. Oh yeah her husband was a powerful former senator. Well, she doesn't deserve the job and I hope she loses BIG TIME! Besides she is OLD AS DIRT!

Liddy Dole's third ad is that Kay Hagan belongs to a white's only country club here in Guilford County. The last white's only country club in Guilford Country. Someone ask earlier what would be her 3rd ad since she did the other two. Well thats it. Now they are saying Kay Hagan has poor judgement.

Elizabeth Dole should be ashamed of herself, but like the true Redder than Red Republican she is, she will say anything and do anything to win. There is no morality to lying about another's faith. There are no ethics that permit such disgraceful and lowball tactics to win an election. The Republican party has been hijacked by the intolerant whack jobs since 1994 when Newt Gingrich decided to turn Bill Clinton into Satan himself. It's been downhill ever since.

By the way, one of the promises of the Republicans' "Contract with America" was to balance the budget. HA !

Promises in politics don't mean very much at all. McCain has no intention of keeping his promises if he is elected, because most people will soon forget all of his promises, and McCain knows it.

Obama, I believe, on the other hand, does intend to try to keep his, but the reality is that he still has to get his through congress, and I don't think that many of his will pass muster with the special interests.

Those being the cases, I'll go with Obama, because at least he'll try and will get some of his through, and McCain is just a liar, and will deliberately drop his, because he is a fake and a phony, and will just continue where Bush leaves off. So there!
