Bears Bust: Rising Prices Limit RV Tailgaters

Tailgaters at Chicago Bears games this season are starting to ask: Where have all the RVs gone?

You know, the tricked-out mobile homes that are painted orange and blue, sport Bears curtains and cushions and are equipped with large-screen TVs. RVs typically host huge parties outside the actual game at Soldier Field.

But Sunday, fewer than three dozen showed up for the Bears-Lions game, despite beautiful weather. That compares with as many as 85 per game in recent years.
