By this point in the campaign, it's pretty obvious that presidential elections bring out the best in public displays of affection. But it's not just spouses who have all the fun - running mates get plenty of PDA-mazing moments, too. Check out the Obamas and the Bidens sharing hugs, kisses, and intimate moments galore as evidenced in the slideshow below.

In the November issue of Vogue, Jill spoke of becoming fast friends with Michelle after the Bidens joined the ticket:

"We began to like each other, and it became a truly warm relationship. We just clicked on so many levels. And our families, I mean, heck! Her mother is so wonderful, and she and her brother get along. It was just this mesh of families. My granddaughters went to a sleepover with Sasha and Malia and had a great time. Toward the end of that week, we were about to say goodbye, and Michelle and I put our arms around each other and she said, 'I love you,' and I said, 'I love you, too.' I mean, in a week it got to that point--and it wasn't phony! I think that's very unusual--maybe for two men to sort of hit it off it's not--but I think it's more unusual for two women to click so quickly."

And, according to Michelle, the feelings are mutual:

"When I first gave her a hug," says Michelle, "I could feel that she was, like, real people. You know? You can sort of tell. She was sweet, down-to-earth and very open and honest, and I liked her right away. And now I just love her to death. She's raised great kids. I think our families are a lot alike."

I love all this pictures, but that last one should be on a stamp. It's really classic and so beautiful. I can just look at it all day. What a wonderful outcome to a long campaign. Soon these two men will have their chance to turn this country around and point us in a much better direction. Peace & Love!

I absolutely love the photo of Obama greeting mom mom. The expressions on all their faces are so beautiful. How genuine these people are! You can feel it. No faking for politics here. Real people for a real cause. Youdisgustme said it best.... "I love the obidens!"

I love the pic where Obama and Biden are getting ice cream. You can tell they obviously like each other.

If McCain and Palin were alone and Palin were standing on a ledge....

WOW! I'm pretty damn cynical (or maybe skeptical) about politics and politicians. But WOW!

GO VOTE NOW! Make History! Obama is need of all the votes necessary to create a landslide. Let's make sure that our state turns blue! Bring your friends and family - make it a group thing! Wouldn't you want to say 1 year from now, 5 years from now, or even 20 years from now that you contributed to the most highlighted election in US history? Wouldn't you be proud to tell your kids/grandkids years from now that you voted for this election? It will be the most talked about election for centuries. Voting is a right and a privilege. Let's all make history together!

I'm sure Joe and Jill will provide the Obamas the loving support they need during this difficult time. I'm glad Barack has a true partner on his side.

You will notice that they don't have "The McCain's greatest PDA moments". That's because there are none. It's obvious that the McCain's don't hold any affection for each other. They never kiss or hold hands and Cindy usually walks 5 steps behind McCain. I truly believe the only reason why Cindy is still with McCain is because she wants so badly to be first lady. I wonder what she is going to do when they lose.

The Obama's, on the other hand are so endearing. It is very obvious that they really love each other. I would so much rather have a President with such a big heart and capacity for loving.

Here are PDAs for the McCain's, but the sense of closeness doesn't seem close to those of the Obamas and Bidens, although not every couple is comfortable with PDA.

Here's one that's post-debate that shows the Obamas compared to the McCains:

And finally, one with McCain and Palin:

You can tell that Obama/Biden are so much more comfortable as a team than McCain/Palin. Of course, when you've only talked to someone twice and met them once for a few minutes, it's kind of hard to get that old chemistry working for the cameras.

I find Biden's recent remarks to be beyond comprehension. Would someone care to explain this man's complete lapses to me, and why you all love him so much? Seems to me he's not qualified to hold any public office.

Well, number 1, if you listen to what Biden is actually saying and in context, he's not saying anything "beyond comprehension." He's also saying what other people have said, even some in McCain's camp (Lieberman), but since his "schtick" is the whole "foot-in-mouth" thing, some of the media (Fox) is blowing what he says COMPLETELY out of proportion.

Joe Biden is one of the most qualified people to be in the position he aspires to.

Number 2, if you are comparing Biden's alleged "gaffes" with Sarah Palin's complete and total lack of knowledge . . . nope, no comparison. The woman doesn't even know what the Constitution says about the office of the VP. Her ridiculous statements are NOT gaffes, they are just evidence of someone who has no clue what she is talking about.

She is unqualified.
