Chris Matthews And Keith Olbermann "Hosting" Election Night, David Gregory "Anchoring" (VIDEO)

MSNBC will have hosts AND an anchor on election night, according to Chris Matthew on "Hardball." After Matthews and Olbermann got removed as official election anchors for the final debates, with David Gregory taking the role, the network announced their election night plans as follows:

MSNBC's Election Night coverage kicks off at 5 p.m. ET, anchored by David Gregory with Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and Eugene Robinson at MSNBC Election Headquarters in New York. "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough will join to provide analysis based on his years of experience in the House of Representatives. Norah O'Donnell will report on the challenges facing the incoming administration...

But Monday Chris Matthews announced he and Olbermann are "hosts":

Please join me and Keith Olbermann as we host MSNBC's election night coverage, and there's nothing like it anywhere else. And David Gregory anchoring."

I hate David Gregory and if he overtakes the rest I like and prefer. But 1 second of David Gregory's voice and I switch to CNN so now MSNBC ruined it for me because I like MSNBC over CNN. What did Matthews and Olbermann do so wrong that they have to be babysat? You want to know who David Gregory is? Go to the article on Huffpo about the Obama's dancing then click on the one for Obama then click on the MC Rove dancing and there you will see David Gregory dancing with Rove! Ugh ugh ugh. David Gregory has McCain and Rove love as does Brokaw. Why not let Chuck Todd replace Gregory. Anyway since I had to see just today Gregory dancing with Rove I just can't watch MSNBC tonight I'm too grossed out! Sorry Keith, Chris, and Rachel I just can't do it. Please let this be the end of Gregory's show Race to the Whitehouse tomorrow it will be obsolete.

Olbermann is the biggest coward. He never has anyone on his show that disagrees with him. And he keeps lying about the Nielsen ratings. Look at them. O'Reilly has double the viewers as KO

Yea, Olberman's ratings are up because people want to hear about Obama and liberal Dems from someone who doesn't spew hatred about them or other bias against them.
Who wants to hear about the has been McCain and the Republicans. Clinton wasn't as well liked as Obama so O'Reilly and others are going to have a hard time keeping their ratings from sinking once Obama wins if they insist on hating Democrats.

Maybe fox scores so high because its the only media that addresses conservatives, so they get half the market in a cakewalk. and fox also presents the liberal view, like alan colmes, of course they do give a pointed conclusion.

Olbermann (as does Maddow) invites people with opposing viewpoints on all the time. Because of his well-known political leanings and his obvious skills as a communicator, much of the opposition declines the invitation.

As to the ratings, KO always states he is talking about the 25-54 demographic (also known as the "money demo" as it is the one advertisers care about the most).

Just can't watch David Gregory - Keith and Chris are just the greatest and I enjoy both of them and their presentations opf the news - hope Gregory is transferred out of the news department. Of course, Maddow has come on strong and is very interesting and accurate. Maybe in the future it could be a panel of Keith, Chris and Rachel - that would be great.
