Florida U. McCain Chairman Votes For Obama

"I wanted to see the next vice president of the United States," said Josh Simmons, Gators for McCain chairman.

Simmons said he voted for Obama about two weeks ago.

"I've seen a different John McCain than the one I signed up to work for," he said.

I never thought I would be inspired by a political leader in my life. Basically I have been cynical and angry. All these months, I have waited for Obama to show his "real self" and come out and attack his opponents the way they have attacked him. I have finally come to terms with the fact that the kind and considerate leader is the real Barack Obama. I believe he has the capacity to unite America and the world, and I think Mr Simmons believes that too, as do many people of all political stripes.
