Sarah Palin's Access Hollywood Interview On Election Eve

On the eve of the election, Sarah Palin talked to Access Hollywood in what might be her last interview as a vice presidential candidate. Below are a few excerpts from the interview.

Palin On McCain's SNL Appearance

"He was great. He was just a pro at that!" Gov. Palin said. "And we hope that Tina Fey keeps that Sarah Palin outfit that she has because we hope she'll be needing it a lot in the next four years. We'll give her some material."

Palin On Meeting Tina Fey

"It was all positive and she was very gracious," Palin told Billy. "I got to meet her daughter, which was my highlight. Her sweet little Alice. She's beautiful. I met her husband and I met her in-laws along the campaign trail. It was a nice connection. She's very talented and I have respect for her ability to pretend to be other people."

Palin On Pregnant Daughter Bristol

"It didn't make either one of us cry. Bristol is a very strong young woman and she's going to be just fine and a wonderful mom. She's kind of an old soul, beyond her time. She's ready to take this on as a young mother and start her own family," Palin continued. "Bristol and I and the rest of the family know this is a team effort. And to be thrust like that into a spotlight on a national scene, was perhaps an unfair shot to be taken. But really, if we don't have think enough skin at this time, as candidates, and I consider our whole family - this is a candidacy for all of us, we shouldn't even be running for office. But we know it's all going to be worth it in the end."

I still can not understand the compulsion to put your child under public scrutiny when she is going through what has to be the most difficult time of her life. Mothers sacrifice for their children, they don't throw them to the wolves.

Congrats democrats, hats off to a presidential candidate who is dedicated to bringing the people together and not to divide and call names. Sarah, hopefully you will return to your church and get those demons out of you and you may return to victory in 2012. Todd, stop allowing her to lead you around on a leash and be a man, that's probably what Sarah really needs.

when i went to go vote today, and i saw her name on the ballot, it literally sent a wave a nausea through my stomach (true story).

Personally, I believe that we have been too hard on Sarah Palin. I have prepared a list of nice parting gifts for her to take back to Alaska with her tomorrow. Let's show some generosity here. Afterall, she has worked hard the last two months. Here is what I would like to offer her to show our gratitude:
