"Fox & Friends" co-host Gretchen Carlson alleged that Barack Obama was prolonging his vote Tuesday morning in an effort to get more "face time" on TV during peak-viewing period.

"I certainly hope John McCain and Sarah Palin are watching this particular event this morning," she said, "because if they would like to have equal time on voting then they should now know that it's been 15 minutes. Let's face it, guys. Let's call it what it is here. This is very good timing on behalf of the Barack Obama camp, and Joe Biden, to have face time like this."

Her co-host Brian Kilmeade chimed in, saying, "Also, it shows someone's decision making process. If John McCain goes in and goes out, that's his style. Barack Obama is consulting others." Obama was showing his children how he was voting.

Later, Megyn Kelly showed the incredibly long Chicago ballot that Obama had to vote, asking, "Can you believe this?" and calling it "longer than Santa's scroll."

"In any event, that explains something about why Barack OBama took so long at the polling station today," she said, without offering an apology for Carlson's earlier claims.
