Rove Fox News

Fox News called Ohio for Barack Obama while Karl Rove was in the middle of an electoral map analysis that said John McCain will have a nearly impossible road to victory without Ohio.

"If he loses Ohio," Rove said of McCain, "he goes from 286, which the Republicans carried in 2004, down to 266, and that puts him below the 270 threshold needed to win the White House. So he'd not only need to sweep the rest of these states which were won by the Republicns in 2004, he'd also need to pick up something as well."

"Guess what Karl," Brit Hume broke in, "I've just received word that the state of Ohio has gone for Barack Obama."

Watch, as Rove sketches out McCain's improbable last hope for a road to the White House, which goes through the solidly blue states of California, Oregon, Hawaii, and Michigan (he would need one of those to win the White House):

as soon as it became apparent that o would win, the faux pundits immediately began conceding what they had been saying all along about obama being too liberal.

suudenly, they were discussing what a centrist he will be and how even though pelosi and reid have been in charge, how they've been moderate as well and how they think obama will be a reagan and clinton-like leader.

this is a great day.

Well, libsarepinheads (we're not) if the red side lets up on the culture wars, things will be smoother than they have been in years. If the hate radio/media keeps it up, things will get ugly. I would say lose with dignity, maybe everything will work out.

With a screen name calling liberals "pinheads", I don't think you're in a position to lecture about humility. But you're right -- Obama is going to need some serious support to clean up the mess he's been handed.

Yeah, its not like we can expect the Republican to have a little humility. They only ruined the entire country with their HUBRIS.

We're taking this with a lot of pride, immense pride in our party and Obama. You can have the humility. Your party deserved to be humiliated.

it's not about "us" winning. i'm an independent - it's about the american people winning and not the hate, fear, and smear that the repubs have been thriving on for the past decade.

Love to see Rove melting down live. Kristol was a joke trying to explain that Palin (his choice) really didn't hurt McCain in this election. HaHaHaHaHaHaHa.
Watch Fox News for a few laughs.

Read Kristol's column in the NYT yesterday and then some of the comments afterwards. The readers tore him a new one because Kristol said the Republican Party will take this loss well, etc....

Everyone reminded Kristol how badly they treated Clinton when he beat Bush in 1992.

Kristol knows he blew it recommending Palin. His days should be numbered.

I flipped over to FOX briefly from CNN. Brit Hume seems totally depressed and FOX is completely sloppy tonight. I saw 2 people walk in front of the camera while they were talking, and BRIT wasn't even seated after the commercial break, so someone else covered for him until he wandered back to his seat.
I don't watch FOX often, but its incredible just how bad their coverage is.. and so gloomy..You feel like you're actually in McCain HQ when watching.. I guess in many ways you are..

Go OBAMA.. now back to CNN..

i agree. i thought it was just in my head or something, but they seem sleepy, speechless, and out of tonight, like they have nothing to talk about.

i mean, what are they gonna do, scream and shout and call the american people a bunch of idiots? they look lost.

Somebody call the WAAAAMBULANCE!! Just looked in on T**DBlossom and CO on FAUX News and they're fuming and whining about "IF Barack had run as a liberal instead of a centerist then they would and could and should have won..." Gee...now they get to find out how we've felt for the last 8 years. I guess they could always leave. :)

I heard on MSNBC that the evil McCain thugs made a bunch of robo-calls to Cubans in Florida that said that Fidel Castro had endorsed Obama. And here is the beauty part: IT DIDN'T WORK FOR THEM!
