Some real data from today's voting, as shown on TV:
Obama: 11 seconds to record his votes
Biden: 3 seconds to record his votes (probably picked full D. ticket)
Palin: 93 seconds to record her votes (did she have trouble reading, or trouble deciding? Didn't pay any attention to the down-ticket ballot?)
McCain: reporters not let into the building (hmmm, sounds like Bush again).
Well... not exactly. I watched video of the Obamas voting and it took nearly 15 minutes. IL has a very long ballot I guess.
i'd never thought i would see a prominent politician so close to his family, like joe holding his mother's hand after giving his wife jill a kiss; and barack so close to his family michelle and their daughters. this, my fellow americans, is what we need in america today. from a tightly knit family springs love and devotion to our country. none of the fake, quick buss on the cheeks; none of the children not giving importance to their education, getting pregnant at a very early age, getting in felonious trouble and "volunteering" in national guard as a punishment. none of that.
that's why we truly need the obama/biden tandem in the white house, to right what is wrong and to free us from the heavy chains that were imposed upon us by the bush-cheney-mccain trio.
it will be a new day tomorrow, my fellow americans. a new, glorious day.
