Natalie Portman,

I need money. Lets go ahead and start the re-distribution.

Big thanks to the Tampa Bay Change office for putting in long hours to see the Peoples President win historically, and to all the offices across the United States of America!

Barack Hussien Obama 44th president!!!

I couldn't believe the turnout of volunteers yesterday in my red state - to walk the neighborhoods and GOTV, to call. I too spend the day doing both.

I wonder though, do the phone produce votes? I had the feeling I was annoying the people who had already voted for him, and annoying the people who would never vote for him.

Given the abundance of volunteers, I think it was a conscious part of the strategy
to contact as many people as possible, including Republicans, in order to
be inclusive.

If people "who would never vote for him" never meet, talk or interact with some
of the 62M who do support Obama, how can we ever hope to persuade them that
our philosophy "we're all in this together" is correct?

We do things the right way. That means we don't need to lie or cheat or
prevent people from voting. We make sure everybody votes even if they're
not on 'our side'. Democrats always win with large turnout.
We really do believe in democracy.

I found the most fun part of Election Day to be knocking on doors in the dark
at 7pm and everyone was very happy to tell us "we voted!".

Arranging rides to the polls for some elderly voters in Philly was probably
the highlight.

One thing I loved about this historic run was the sheer number of people who showed up to help any way they can. From so many walks of life. I truly commend all of the phonebankers.

How unhollywood. Instead of showing her support at gala dress up parties where she can be 'seen' she sits making phone calls. No champaign cocktails no designer gowns. Every once and awhile we're reminded their are normal people in the film industry.

I spent most of my day knocking on doors to get the vote out, and ended it on the phone. My last call was made 5 minutes before the polls closed. Right down to the wire. Don't give up. Don't let up.

And here we are. Today rocks.

LOVE her! Thanks for the effort and enthusiasm, Nat!!

BTW, she LOOKS so much like Cytheria that I've occasionally wondered if she has the Cytheria skill-set--i.e., natural fire-fighting abilities. (Don't boo me too loudly; this is the INTERNET we're spending our time on here. Surely a few of you can relate.)

Natalie is much finer that Cytheria. Though I agree, I too have been curious about Natalie's fire fighting skill set for some time. It makes me wonder.

I don't care what celebrities do...the little people are the ones who count.

So you're discriminating about whether someone's opinion is valid based solely on the JOB they have?

Nice.

I for one appreciate them for speaking out and working for change. Their rights and duties as citizens should not be less than those of "the little people" just because they're in a different line of work.

That goes without saying. I would like to add that their opinions should not count for any more than that of Joe the Plumber. Given that most Hollywood celebs are fairly dumb, perhaps their opinion should count for less. Would you appreciate their working for change if they were working for Republicans?

Isn't it an incredible feeling when you think that no matter who you are or what you do, that we've all been brought to the same level, bound together by hope and a passionate belief?

Way to go America..........and GOOD MORNING!

Tens of thousands of regular, every day Americans struggling to make ends meet made calls for Barak Obama. Let's give props to them.

What a fun, upbeat guy you must be, Dave! Other than the proverbial "cup of misery," is anything ever half-full for you?

Far too many celebs take the "I don't have time," or the Marie Antoinette let-them-eat-cake approach. For those (like Natalie Portman) that don't, a little recognition may be in order.

Bah, Humbug, right?

Sorry to have offended your celebrity-obsessed sensibilities. Again, props to all the non-celebs who did so much to shape this election. How about a gallery of them, Huff Post.

I believe that Natalie would be the first one to give props to all who took time off from work or busy family lives to do what she did. Democrats are like that. The egotistical, money-centered, gun loving celeb types are Republicans. I love you Natalie. Now you've confirmed what I have long suspected, you are as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. I love you.
