I have nothing but a tremendous admiration and respect for Ms. Portman, whether the cameras are rolling or not, and I'm not surprised by her efforts here.
No wonder all those New Yorkers came to PA to volunteer for Obama. They said there was no need for them there and now I know why. ;-)
