Palin Won't Say Who She Voted For

The Chicago Tribune reports:

Citing her right to privacy, Gov. Sarah Palin refused to say who she voted for after emerging from her polling place in Wasilla, Alaska. That's right, she wouldn't say she voted for her own presidential ticket. We assume she did, but she stood on principle and wouldn't say. She did say the secret ballot was one of the "cool" things about the U.S. Agreed.

Palin did say, "I hope, pray, believe I will be able to wake up as vice president elect."

That is so dumb. Why would it need to be a secret when you are one of the persons on the ballot? They asked a dumb "gotcha" question and got a very dumb "gotcha" answer. The answer is understood. She thought she was being smart.

The Obama administration has just announced that it is going to have two VP's next year; Joe - the real VP, and Palin - Queen of the Senate. Why? 'cause she can make the VP's job anythin' she wants.! It will be a great start in bipartisan cooperation as well. When advised that she would not get a vote and could only sit there and look pretty, Patin said she didn't mind as long as long as she got to wear a pretty gown, fancy crown, a sash saying "Senate Queen", matching throne and of course her "magic wand" that gets Senators to say anything she wants. You betcha'! Sources speaking anonymously expressed concern that the deal might not go through unless lawmakers agree to bow to the Queen when she enters the room.....

Off subject, but I just saw an interview with Chevy Chase. He was asked about Saturday Night Live sketch he did of President Gerald Ford... and the question was: Do you think that SNL influences votes when they are made fun of? His answer: YES! It does affect them getting elected.. He was then asked in this TV interview, did you want Gerald Ford to win. His response: NO, heck no, I wanted Jimmy Carter to win, and then he was asked; So do you think SNL making fun of Palin is because they want her to win. Chevy Chase answered: Well, what do you think.... and laughed this wicked laugh, that gave you a definite answer.

I got the biggest kick out of his laugh. It really answered the question-----HELL-O NO!

Actually, she insisted on going back there to vote. She said it would make a good photo op, and of course it did. Expensive trip, she coulda saved the campaign half a mil or so if she'd just voted absentee.
