Palin Won't Say Who She Voted For

The Chicago Tribune reports:

Citing her right to privacy, Gov. Sarah Palin refused to say who she voted for after emerging from her polling place in Wasilla, Alaska. That's right, she wouldn't say she voted for her own presidential ticket. We assume she did, but she stood on principle and wouldn't say. She did say the secret ballot was one of the "cool" things about the U.S. Agreed.

Palin did say, "I hope, pray, believe I will be able to wake up as vice president elect."

In fact, what she is doing there is backing her position on secret ballots for Union votes-- a topic she has raised several times during the election. This is the one time she's made sense to me this whole election.

I'm afraid that Ms. Palin will cloud our skies for a while longer and certainly in 2012. I hope that the GOP will realize that their "darling" from the cruises in Alaska was NOT a smart choice for VP, nor will she be a viable choice for 2012. But these are the folks that took Joe the plumber campaigning with them.....

We've almost forgotten that we're supposed to treat the Governor with "deference". Be thankful she doesn't insist we avert our eyes when we're in her presence.
She hasn't answered any other questions, why should she start now?

Palin's an Obama supporter. She just didn't want to embarass McCain by telling everyone.

So funny she cites the right to privacy, which is not specifically articulated in the Constitution, but has been extrapolated from other language therein by the Supreme Court. That right to privacy is what gives women the right to abort pregnancies. I guess she is in favor of the right to privacy, and does not agree with McCain that the Constitution should be read literally, not as interpreted by the Supreme Court.
