Sarah Palin Votes In Alaska - But Won't Say For Whom (VIDEO)

Just after 11 EST, 7 am in Alaska, Sarah Palin arrived at her local polling place in Wasilla to cast her vote. She talked and laughed with her fellow voters, including husband Todd. After voting, she took a moment to speak to reporters and voice her confidence in a McCain win.

BUT, asked who she voted for, Palin refused:
"I don't have to tell anyone who I vote for! Nobody does. And that's really cool about America."

Sure as a part of a political campaign she's expected to say "of course I voted for us!" but she's not REQUIRED!

I proudly cast my ballot for Obama/Biden today and believe Sarah Palin is wrong about a lot of things but this is not one of them. Please Democrats, focus on the ISSUES not just the candidates, and give the Republicans credit when they are right, you can (and should) still shame them when they are wrong, but good god, we want to bring them in not drive them out!

I have to agree with her, although, duh, I don't think she voted for Bob Barr.

When I was standing in line to vote today, I enjoyed how polite and silent everyone was being in line. Everyone was quiet and kept their opinions to themselves and behaved politely.

It's not like this in some other countries. People aren't this polite everywhere. It's really nice that democracy works more or less here. It works because Americans behave well, more or less, whether they win or lose. The losers don't take up arms against the winners and the winners don't go hunt down and arrest the losers.

Too bad it's not like this everywhere.

Maybe this election will increase the value of democracy around the world. Maybe we'll be good role models for people still trying to find their way.
