I love this woman.

She was a tough, tough fighter in the Primarys--- people who say she played dirty now see what dirty actually is.

And as we know she held back from the rotten tactics the campaign wanted her to use.

Her toughness is what we need in the Senate and God knows I hope she will become majority leader- we need her backbone and the hard work, preparation and willingness to not give up she does and will continue to do... Not to mention her intelligence and breadth of knowledge on the issues and her liberal viewpoint.

She is actually more liberal than most- including Obama and Biden according to analysis from govtrack.us.
We need the more centrist President at the moment, but we definitely need the liberal/progressive voice in the senate fighting for progressive values and ideas and the little guy.

She is an amazing woman.
Well, I['m off to vote for Obama- thanks to Hillary for bringing me there!

PS- another thought
I know many who demonized her during the primary really hadn't been around politics before and didn't "get" the primary battle- I for one am so happy she stayed in till the end. It made Obama really fight which he needed to do for his own good as well as for the party and election- it made the timing right for the GE- and it allowed every voter to be heard no matter who the supported. It was thrilling. I also know that many didn't know much about her and took the war vote as the totality of who she is, calling her a neocon among other choice words- which is far from who she is- Taking one vote to "prove" something is just silly-- that would be like taking the FISA vote of O and using it to prove he is a neocon and saying you won't vote for him- despite all the other good he can do.

Anyway, that is my 2 cents and I am proud of this woman and look forward to the work she is going to be doing.

Hillary staying in the fight as long as she did is the reason why Obama will be President...

You are only as good as your opponent...and when it comes to politics...there will probably be NOBODY that will be as good as an opponent as Hillary Rodham Clinton...

HRC makes mere mortals aspire to be more (just ask Bill)...

If you needed Hillary to bring you over to Obama, it's you that doesn't "get" the policies that were being discussed in the primaries, which means you were caught up in a cult of personality.

today's gotta be bittersweet for Hillary, too...

Wonderful video- thanks for sharing.

One thing about Hillary, she knows how to roll up her sleeves, get to work and do what needs to be done.
There may be bittersweet moments, there may be tragic moments but she doesn't ever let it stop her. I learned that about her in the '90's.

When you read about some of the insider republican crap that was going on- unbelievable dirty stuff being pulled to undermine and tear the C's down it is amazing that they kept on going and did the best they could- I believe in large part it was Hillary's backbone and belief in public service (you can see that trajectory over the course of her life if you do some reading) that kept them afloat, still standing and still working today.

She rocks.

I agree. VP for Hillary would've been a waste. She would have a great legacy as a justice on the Supreme Court or AG.

She has said she doesn't want that- she is happy to be in the Senate and wants to stay and work her ass off for NY and all of us as usual.

Majority leader- someone who has a tough, no nonsense, don't/won't give up attitude.

go get your glasses, she looks fabulous, thoughtful, peaceful and happy.

She is a gracious woman who rolls with the punches and then gets busy doing what is needed for the country--- if you knew anything about her you would know that is who she has always been.

75 appearances, over 10 million raised for Obama--- give your projections a rest.

She has led since the primary ended with her example, pulling her supporters in to vote for Barack.
My admiration for her grows and grows. I think she would have made a very good President and I think Obama will too.

Move on pal, its time to grow up, let go, move on, end the divisiveness, get to work and support those who do the heavy lifting---
snark serves no one.

Maybe you ought to read the article about advice from Abraham Lincoln.
Well worth the time.

After the last couple of months of the campaign, I realize that it has grown shockingly refreshing to see an intelligent woman speak off the cuff. I need to scrub Sarah Palin's idiocy from my brain, egads, and remember that most people to get to her position are, like, smart 'n stuff. Thank you for this clip of Hillary.

I have to second this. Sarah is like a 3rd grade school kid compared to Hillary. Awesome video and I appreciate her vote and her words.

Don't feel bad. She was dirty during the primaries, but she's since redeemed herself. I'm actually liking her again. But to feel bad for having those primary feelings? Nope.

HRC is looking good in that still. Rest makes all the difference, I guess.

Here's some feel-good Obama to help ease the anxiety about the results tonight:
