CNN Hologram Technology Explained (VIDEO)

CNN introduced a new feature for their live reporting: holograms of their correspondents in the studios. They debuted this with Jessica Yellin. Watch the video below for a behind the scenes look at the technology.

It looked idiotic and pointless. The idea of flying a reporter across the country is to HAVE HIM THERE AND SHOW IT, not to fake-teleport him back to the studio like some cheap 1960s Star Trek episode.

Maybe Fox News can get a hold of the technology and make Republicans feel a lot better by, starting on January 20th, projecting the image of Ronald Reagan into a picture of the Oval Office. Many Republicans will feel safe regardless of those two small problems that will exist, one will be that Barack Obama will be the President of the United States. The other of course is that Ronald Reagan is deceased.
It probably won't happen, but I wish there could be an admission from Conservatives that FDR stands far above Reagan on the all-time list, and that Bush is below Jimmy Carter on the same list. Yet now we can turn to Barack Obama as a new leader on the world stage to carry the banner for Democrats and all Americans, Republicans are still stuck singing the praises of a President who left office 20-years before Obama will be sworn in.

this isnt a real hologram, its a simulated hologram. its a composite illusion. there was nothing actually projected in studio.

I do live in Japan. I had seen this technology on Japanese TV sometimes ago. I guess the Japanese will be offended by these "TV first " cliam.

Hmmm? I recall 9.1.1. t.r.u.t.hers suggesting that CGI planes and hologram technology was used on the towers and that CNN and other networks played a huge role in deceiving us that day. And that the military had this then and would release it years down the line to the public. Scary!
