Lisa Rinna

Lisa Rinna is opening the lid on a big Hollywood secret by confessing that she had too much of the filler Juvéderm injected into her face. "We all know everyone does it!" Lisa, 45, tells In Touch. "We go on Jenny Craig and do all these things to change ourselves, so why can't we get a little filler?" But while a little is one thing, Lisa admits she recently overdid it. "I saw a picture of myself and thought, 'Uh-oh,'" admits Lisa, after getting too much Juvéderm. "You have to be careful. I'm a perfect example of that!" "There are many things you can do to make yourself look better," says Lisa, whose fitness DVDs Lisa Rinna: Dance Body Beautiful are out in December.

In Touch: So what made you decide to get filler?

Lisa: At my age, you have to look good if you want to continue working. Sometimes we do things to help, and I did. I had tried Botox, and then fillers came into the plastic surgery world, and you think, "That's not a bad idea."

In Touch: What was your reaction when you saw yourself?

Lisa: I thought I looked great. It was a little bit more than normal, but you think it'll go down, so I wasn't scared. But two days ago, I saw a photo of myself at a party and went, "Oh, jeez. I have too much filler."

In Touch: Is there anything you can do about it?

Lisa: I see that it's too much, so I'm going to lay off. I don't want to look weird! It'll go down in three months. And of course I'll stick with my doctor here in LA. I've seen him for years and he knows me best.

Rinna's lips have looked like mating snails on steroids for years. Doesn't Harry notice when she comes home that he doesn't recognize his wife anymore?? Maybe these aging stars should plan ahead for an alternate career or keep photos of when they looked really good ( even with a little boost) as a reference. Most of these people over do it and eventually diminish the ability to emote facially. Nicole Kidman has already stepped over that line and Cher aught to be put in prison for the way she destroyed her good looks. Whatever happened to "REAL" well okay, "ALMOST REAL". And Ms Rinna let the air out of the tires and let your inner beauty have a front seat.

All the money spent on looking young and the formula (or what would optimize this) is a vegetarian diet with lots of raw food and if you must consume flesh then eat very little, sufficient sleep, excersize and daily meditation practice. Meditation is miraculous for looking youthful, and this is the least of its benefits.

Debra Winger was once quoted, when asked about why she doesn't have plastic surgery -- that one day they'll need an actress to play a 50 year old woman, and she'll be the only one left in Hollywood who will fit the part.

I hope she still feels that way --

Nothing is more beautiful than aging gracefully and naturally and loving yourself.

Don't inject -- just respect!

Lisa Rinna was really a lovely, natural beauty when she was younger.

And I'm sure she would have been a lovely forty-something if she had stuck with the natural route. But she just looks odd. Trying to reach for that fountain of youth just comes off as desperate, very Norma Desmond. And the thing about it is, they don't look younger when they do all of this...they just look like fortysomethings who have had a lot of work done.

Too bad they don't have an injection to make actresses brains bigger.

What the heck is filler? Is it plaster or Spackle for the dermis? Soem people want flawless to the point of being "fascists" with the idea of "ideal" and "perfection."

Hmm, Meryl Streep, Dame Judi Dench, Helen Mirren, Maggie Smith etc. all seem to get work... and yet, no filler in their wrinkled faces...Why, that's impossible! Only mask faces get work.

Add Diane Keaton to that group. She has had no plastic work done at all.

You need to look good to keep working?
If only the filler helped get her one good role!

I saw Lisa Renna this summer in a tiny coffee shop at the Beverly Hills Hotel - she looked pretty good actually.

These comments are truly disturbing to me. This actress did something that she thought would prolong her career and unfortunately she did over do it. Everybody is doing something of this nature and who the hell do we think we are for critidizing her. She was brave enough to come out to the public and admit her mistake and I personally find that admiring. She is a beautiful woman inside and out and it is only fair to lighten up on her. Everybody that is so critical should take the time that they use to judge her and maybe be a little more introspective about theirselves and improving their own lives. Sometimes I wonder about these people who judge so indiscriminately and think that maybe they have their own self esteem problems and use this kind of forum to make them feel better about theirselves. Go Figure!

It's hard not to questions her motives, admitting to do all of this "beauty fillers for empathy. After all, she is pandering her fitness DVD coming out this December. But really, would I want to buy her "fitness program" and look at that face ?

Sorry, but not in a million years. I do hope though that she learned from those mistakes. And I meant that sincerely. I wish her well.

But truthfully, my 2 grannies are 84 and 82. I see those lines in their faces, but I see character, past history and yes, everlasting beauty. Now, why would I want to erase them. When I am old and grey, I hope to gracefully resign youth and beauty for WISDOM.

I liked looking young. I still like at least looking fresh and rested. I would do a little here and a little there. I have never felt my age. I wouldn't mind being as wrinkle free as possible. But all that aside we do grow old and some things just cant be kept at bay forever. So in a perfect world we would all look as young as we feel. That could be disastrous if you felt really old and tired at 20. But great at 76. So the point is enjoy your age. It's the only one you will ever possess at that time. At 54 I look it. I'm a little pudgy( my doing. ) But if it bothers me enough I'll do something about it. Or I 'll learn to live with it. Maybe I'll learn from Ms Rinna's face not to do that!! But maybe I might get into exercising again!!

If I do plan to alter my appearance in anyway I hope to do it so only I can really detect subtle changes. Maybe do it so I see just a hint of something I haven't seen in awhile. But I don't want to see a face in the mirror that could never belong to me. But tell me.... What's wrong with being able to wink at yourself and say "You're still lookin' good"?

I think it's because everyone is reacting to this thought that only youth is beautiful. She is a FINE looking middle aged woman who would absolutely tear it up in the "normal" world. Alas she happens to live in the hyped up, abnormal world, so I can see her point. But I just take one look at her whole package and I think she didn't need to do a thing. I think she looked fantastic before the 'spackle',

i think loobie got it right.
she is a gorgeous woman, why mess with what is natural?
i don't believe she was working a ton til she got on dancing with the stars so
why the facial spackle? there is another actress, i am sure she is a wonderful
person (bold and beautiful -taylor-) she has had so much done to her face
that i expect to see inner tubes for lips next time she messes with her face!
it is just unnatural and very noticeable. don't think either of them want to be
noticed because they hardly look like they did.

Rinna shined this light on herself. Whether an actress, an actor or anyone has this sort of work done to themselves caution has to be the guide. We all know that overdoing it never brings good results or almost never,in anything.
Where does the problem begin?? When do we learn to accept ourselves as we are?Obviously Ms Rinna's treatments made her lower face so full that her eyes were shutting on their own. She realized this involuntary squinting was caused by lingual and cheek bloat. Maybe it's not even a "self" issue but just IQ.
So yes it's a personal issue. Yes it's a shame that people do this to themselves. And no , a gun wasn't held to Rinna's head to expose her story. She chose to do it. And maybe it will help a few people. People make mistakes. Some are seen. Some are unseen. And Some are obscene. All of them have to be lived with somehow.

The difference between her lips and Angelina Jolie's, Lisa's look like they're going to fall off. Angelina's a real. Her daughter Shiloh has the same lips too.

I wouldn't inject myself with any of that stuff. Why seek a career when you have to be a Barbie Doll until you're 95?

You mean she paid money for those lips? I've always thought they looked really hideous.
